Man, this crowd & environment is painfully awkward but Steel Panther just owns it. Not having any backing tracks, they show just how amazing their musicianship still is. As odd as it might seem for a band that says such outlandish things...I really respect these guys. No apologizes, top notch musicianship and song writing...right on.

lol to be fair this bands lyrics and antics absolutely won't work in this day and age, hell it didn't even work that well in their era lol, i remember satchel saying that they were asked to tone their lyrics down by a major producer but walked away from the potential cash flow because they wanted to maintain their creative freedom.

I'm guessing this was an exclusive acoustic show for the employees of Hot Topic . I'm thinking that half the people there had no idea who Steel Panther is and where quietly appalled . The other half were hip to Steel Panther but a little reluctant to cut lose in front of their bosses , co-workers , etc. Then there was the brave few who didn't give a fuck and had blissful fun . Too cool . Wish I had been there .

I wonder if the person who booked Steel Panther knew that the writing was on the wall and that they'd better book the best rockin band in the world for its swan song. Whatever happened whoever did present this band to their workforce had BALLS OF STEEL. reat to know that The Panther are still rockin' it up to day.
