I saw Judas Priest in the late '70s at a small club. must have been their first time in America. they had brand new Marshall stacks, and ridiculous arena rock outfits - but it was a small stage at a small club with (maybe) about 200 people. I had heard their first album and thought they'd be worth seeing. But they were one of the worst bands I've ever heard (almost as bad as Ted Nugent). The local band opening act was much better. They were just plain terrible. And it was all the more hilarious because of the outfits and phony arena posturing in a small club. it was awful. we got up and left after about 4 songs, they were so bad.

For some reason the way Nick holds his guitar looks super awkward to me but then he whips out the most killer riffs 🤣 Great job with that interview Nick! Satchel's a tough one unless you speak his language, and you clearly do 👏
