This is very sad, my wife and I lived in Venice from 2018 - 2022. We loved eating lunch at jetty jacks 😢

I was born and raised (even lived as a baby) on Casey Key. I grew up on the jetty and Casey Key… my grandmother, taking me to the beach…as an infant to my childhood, and as an adult. I grew up there when there were beautiful trees lining the beach and surrounding the jetty, they tore were down, all those trees, to make a room for cars along time ago, I was saddened to drive up and see all the beautiful nature gone one day. Now, seeing what has happened with all the storms and hurricanes is devastating. We are all left with our fond memories, let’s keep them alive forever, sharing them with each other. 🧡, Shelle

I left Venice in 2020 after living there for 20 years. It’s sad to see the jetties destroyed. Now they will get another storm today hurricane Milton. I wish you safety. Venice!💕💕

I love jetty Jack's. I hope they rebuild. I'm so sad to see this especially with it stood strong in hurricane Ian.

Sad to see, I love sitting on the North Jetty because of the shade, but the South is a Great spot when the surf is up
