Moving from the Myrtle Beach SC area to Venice, I will say people are so much more friendly here. Beautiful weather and a beautiful area of Sarasota County.

We love Venice!! My wife and I were thinking of buying, but we are here for 2 months. One thing I wish they had more (for me) 1. More than one men's stores.

Venice is just awesome! The changes have only made it better it seems. Speaking of better, this channel is always on top of things with regard to the Sarasota County area, which of course includes Venice. Thanks for always providing informative and valuable content. You guys never disappoint.

That's definitely a fair concern. Getting in the right home in the right area is important to minimize those risks. We've been through a few major hurricanes and storms now and have dealt with some damages to our home, but nothing devastating. There are others who have been less fortunate. A lot of it comes back to location and the home itself.

I lived in Venice for 20 years and I loved it, it really is a very beautiful place. However I left in 2020 because I got sick of worrying about the hurricanes. I live in Charlotte,NC now.

U crazy Venice is one of the few areas not changed.. I've lived on Venice island for 8 years no change.

Sir, Wellin Park, is Wellin Park. It actually falls under North Port and they are trying to separate from North port. Wellen Park it trying to incorporate itself but North Port doesn't want to give up the tax revinue. Meaning it is not and will not be "Venice". Please do not continue to imply Wellen Park is Venice. It is not. Thank you.

We're well aware of all that. We never did and never do imply that Wellen Park is Venice. We just say that it's near Venice. We always make sure to be clear that it's part of North Port in terms of taxes, public services, etc., but also that most homes do have a Venice mailing address. All of which are true.
