This bunch of coaches has to be the most wholesome bunch. Like seriously Rita was like 'well the block sucks but I'm gonna hype her up regardless and tell her a trouble I have with that song on stage'. Plus her expressions when she's realizing it's her song are amazing.

It shows a great deal of respect and admiration to sing someone's song for them. When Dimash was on the singer he performed a song Autumn Strong. The song was written by a Japanese artist for his mother. His mother was orphaned in China just before WW2. When she 16 she started singing Chinese music for the Chinese. To be an inspiration. Sadly a few years after the war ended somehow it got out that she was Japanese and not Chinese. The Chinese government deported her to Japan, a place she had never been. China was her home. Suffice to say it took her long time to get adjusted. Anyways when Dimash performed the song he flew the artist and his mother to China for the live performance. She had not stepped foot on Chinese soil since 1958. After his performance had the audience in tears, one of the host gave him a host pass. This means instead of the audience judging his performance he would automatically take 2nd place in the round. It would not fair to make an emotional destroyed audience compare his performance to any other performance. Dimash after his performance brought the lady flowers and thanked her for coming to see his performance. Even more heartwarming is that people in the studio audience were pat her on the shoulder or back and welcoming her home. I have been a fan of Dimash ever since.

Sad she didn't go further, though another great performance edged her out. She should take huge belief from 4 judges picking her and doing it on a massive stage...and smashing it. Keith's advice really spoke to me..and was timely, so a big thanks to him. Nice guy
