Wondered about the sequence of wash first and then see what needed pointing, you ended up deciding that was likely. At 5:14, the huge color change in the side alley sure made things brighter. There are some fairly extreme areas of Black Spot and Lichen in the patio. Finding the brick edging was a bonus. That was a pretty India Sandstone there, I can understand three treatments. You did a kind of fascinating form of pointing, hadn't realized it could be done similar to sanding, with a broom. You managed quite a bit of restoration there. Glad the owners are dreaming it back into existence and you had the skills to tackle the recovery.

You mean the pointing material. Can't see what it is. Brush in is easy but not needs wetted to set and can stain slab edges if it's cement I found out.

I like when you changed to the wand, much cleaner and brighter outcome! Looks great! So when you re-sanded the pavers, you used water. Is this a new way to do it, does it save on sand, better yet why use water?

so this wasn't sanded it was repointed with hard setting jointing material like they would do it was first laid which is why we use water, as you need to wet the compound to get it to set. Its also important to set the stones as to not get the resin on the face of them and set leaving them dirty,
