SHOCKING DETAILS ! FRIEND KILLS FRIEND OVER A LIQUOR BOTTLE! ACCUSED ARRESTED BY VERNA POLICE

In a tragic and shocking incident, a man was murdered by his friend over a bottle of liquor. The Verna Police Station has registered Crime No. 67/2024 following a complaint from Shri Mahendra Barad, a resident of Malwara, Agassaim, Tiswadi-Goa. The incident occurred on the evening of 02.07.2024 at Pajentar, Cortalim-Goa, where Mr. Lionel @ Pinku Lobo, 32, was brutally assaulted with a cemented block, resulting in his death. Preliminary investigations led to the detention of the accused, Alex Coutinho, a close friend of the victim.
