You make great videos with none of the fluff. I'm not the same as I'm a digital nomad who lived in Switzerland for 2 months and Singapore fot 3. Yet you make very relatable points and both are my top 2 favorite countries. I wish i could stay in both for half the year each year, both are amazing for different reasons

Hi Swizzyinsg, As an expat I. think the most difficult part is homesick. So to me the best way to overcome the is. to go out there to mix more friends.

I can relate to your point about the challenges of making new friends as a adult and my peers have familiy and other commitments. We can connect and do coffee if you don't mind.

In Singapore, the community wants you to be yourself from my observation. Even in a majority Chinese environment, Singaporeans largely do not expect anyone to speak Chinese or embrace Chinese values to feel welcomed as part of a bigger community. It's a very peaceful place.

Hi I'd like to encourage you so this is meant to be positive. I'm a local but I lived in California for 20 years so I can relate to everything you said. I wasn't planning to move back but you never know what the future brings... but that's me. As for you, well I'm half European or Eurasian my ancestors were like you. There will always be felt differences even for me, I felt it as a kid growing up here, I still feel it sometimes but I've learnt to embrace and celebrate my uniqueness at the same time I found good friends that look beyond appearances. O, if I showed up at your door to invite you to dinner, you'd call the police... LOL (strange man at my door help)haha If you're ever in need of another friend, let me know
