Great video Dreamerspro! More things that MJ has done that people don't know: MJ helped fund the Film Malcolm X when his friend Spike Lee ran out of money. The Budget was originally 1mil dollars. Magic Johnson, MJ, Janet Jackson are some of the celebrities that helped get that movie done. Also MJ has personally built 3 Healthcare facilities in his native North Carolina each at 10mil a piece his own money & gave 7 mil to at risk youth in North Carolina also. 5 mil in Chicago for at risk youth. Gave money to Dikembe Mutombo when he was building a hospital in his native land. MJ doesn't want to be recognized for these HUMAN actions.

In July 2023, the school came under the scrutiny of the Ohio Department of Education for its deficient performance in the state's math and English tests. None of the eighth grade students for the 2023-2024 school year tested proficient in math in the previous three years, and in the preceding year only 8% of I Promise students tested proficient in English. Jordan laid the foundation for a great deal of LeBron's financial success. A substantial amount of LeBron's net worth is attributable to his Nike contract, and Nike was built on the Jordan brand. Speaking as a white man... I remember as a kid that everyone wanted to be like Jordan. Didn't matter what color the person was. I think the fact that MJ didn't play into race-based politics was a huge part of that. I certainly didn't look at him first and foremost as a black man... Just a man... A man who happened to have an extraordinary gift and who seemed to be for everyone. And yes, he happened to be black, but who cares. I certainly didn't. I think he did more to help whites and blacks find common ground, and helped racist people see past skin color, than people realize. The narrative that LeBron has championed has only made things worse between whites and blacks. I feel like how we relate to each other has taken a major step back because now all anyone wants to look at is color. Personally, I think we've forgotten the words of MLK Jr. That we should judge each other by the content of our character, and not the color of our skin.

@@nav9867 I didn't mean that he promotes white vs black. He seems like a nice guy, actually. I just meant that he seems to support the narration that the major problems in this country stem from racism. All that ever does is get people on both sides worked up. It never solves anything. We'll never get rid of racism. It has always and will always exist, because some people would rather hold that hate in their hearts. But the more we focus on it, the more we're held captive by what it does. And then we begin to see it in situations where it's actually not even there. Like the time that cop saved a person from being stabbed. LeBron reacted before even looking at the entire situation, and put the cop on blast with a "you're next" caption. Everyone saw it as a racist event, when it clearly wasn't. That doesn't bring people together. It tears us apart.

What has he done in Calif? Nobody respects him in Cali. I've talked to fans of his from other states, but they know nothing about him. And they r twerking all over place. This one guy was 6'4 and I asked if he was in sports. He bought a team and emplyed many blacks, he built a Clinic in N C. But Lebron went to a private school. The school board and it's a public school taxpayer pay for . It's like Rich Paul is supposed to be an agent for Klutch. U can be an agent for a real estate company, but u dont own it. So it is w Klutch. Case closed. Klutch is a corporation w Rich as an agent and the fooled black athletes to join.

who said there was obligation to give support to the black community? Is that like a default setting that we're not allowed to not entertain?
@jamesmckenzie95292 ай бұрын
This is the most cringy take yet. It is very true that MJ has given a ton of money to the black community, much of it not widely advertised. But, both MJ and LeBron give back, why does this also need to be something to fight about. The negativity is overwhelming!

Mainstream sports media has talked about lebron's "activism" and what he's "done" for the black community fairly often, I hope you label this as "bordering unhealthy" as well.
@justynlyde2 ай бұрын
I dont care about the topic one way or the other. Its corny. Either you're doing for the community or your not. It's not a competition. Lebron isn't out here bragging about it. it's the media. Blame them, not him. My point is Charles will talk about anything so long as it's a negative story about lebron. It's literally the off-season, and he's still talking about this man. He's finding negative stuff just to talk about all because he hates the man. Even skip had off days

Lebron has actually contributed to the downfall of the black community by tweeting and spreading the word of black victimhood. MJ shows the strength and overcoming while Lebron constantly claims being a victim. Stand up and be better for the community.

Yo dog. You definitely don't wanna go to off the court stuff. Jordan is absolutely cooked in that department. Btw, you're fighting the war against your damn self. We don't even think about or Jordan. Reggie's show wasn't about you. And you don't get views without LeBron in the title. We love great basketball. That includes Jordan and Kobe. The only hater is you gang. And that's okay

@@DREAMERSPRO like every other community post or video is you finding a way to beat down Lebron like he isn’t one of the most influential athletes of our generation and one of the greatest basketball players of all time , don’t have to blow out one man’s candle to make another one shine brighter , these kinda videos make you just as bad as the supposed Lebron fans you’re trying to make a point out of when you’re basically doing the same thing for Jordan and Kobe

You're absolutely right about who said anybody has to donate anything. And a lot of people do it because it's a good thing to do but the main reason is because it's a tax write-off. And these people making tens of millions of dollars a year or hundreds of millions of dollars a year they should be the ones to do it but don't think any of them are doing a goddamn thing if it don't in some way benefit them
