The EcoFlow is the perfect thing you could have to get this all working. Billy is wise, as always. Just don't bother with the old electrics and instead plug that puppy into a solar panel on the roof, just make sure to leave room for the 3d camera as well lol. I look forward to seeing what you design as a charging/storage area for the camera equipment. I think this van is going to make your professional life a lot easier. I am excited about this project. 🧡

Hi Alex. Congrats on the Van. I have a similar item, a Dodge Extended Cab camper Van. 1987 Dodge Ram with a 318 Cubic Inch Block with a 2 barrel Carb. I've had many RV through my years, and your water issue very well could be broken pipes. The pump creates pressure in the line and will cut out when it reaches pressure. That is the little black encased plastic thingy at the tip of the pump. So, if it continually runs, and the water is leaking out of the van, you have a pipe break. Usually from improper winterizing, or lack thereof. I sure you know that water will find its 'level' and that usually where the frozen water bursts the pipe. In Trailers I had in the past, usually around taps, copper pipes, connectors and the like. Check to make sure the water heater is empty too. Our winters are more severe in Canada than in England, but still worth the time and effort to do it correctly. You are going to reno you van, so close inspection of all joints, elbows and traps to ensure your investment doesn't rot due to water. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Alex and Lela, I enjoy your videos. I recommend list what you want, need, and have to have. Then, sort out a plan to accomplish. I understand about the gas stove and oven. I would be uncomfortable as well. So, example: - So kettle (must) - Simple Induction Hob - portable stow away when not using (Eggs, pasta, etc.) - Microwave/Convection combo (pizza) 12v Refrigerator. I would still have a sink (trust me on this). So switching to electric, you will need a proper battery set up (with secondary alternator to charge the batteries). *Plenty of USB charging points throughout. * Main thing, create your list and prioritize. This can be a fun adventure.

The absolute easiest way to fix everything on the motorhome is to remove the radiator cap... move the vehicle out of the way... bring in a new one and replace the cap on the new one.. lol BUT since you want to do this the hard way.. We will be here for the ride. C-ya on the next video...

Alex just check your 'leak' is not the frost relief solenoid. Most vans have a valve that opens to let the water out if it gets too cold. It would normally under the floor somewhere.

Boy do I have problems with the gimbal and monitor, I think I’m better off not seeing the view. I tried the shorter cord, but I’m wishing my camera had a side monitor instead of in the back. I wished I’d thought about 5hat before I bought the camera.
