I spent over 20 years as a line screw in the B.C. correctional system. I eventually had my fill and left. No regrets there! And yes, I have some serious concerns with this particular program. I really don't believe much of what Dominic Leblanc has to say on this or any other subject. As Minister of Public Safety, he supports civil disarmament while giving more rights and privileges to criminals. This seem both hypocritical and counterintuitive to me.

I was a child protection worker in Red Lake Ontario in 1986/88 … at the time we had a convicted p e d o in the town who was courting a single mom (with small kids). As a CP worker I wanted to warn the mom but was told by OPP that I could not violate HIS “human rights”! How crazy is that … we have always protected P e d o s (at the cost of child safety)!
