i live in florida and i was a victim of milton. fema came to my house (clerks) to help fill out their application. they did the filling out on a tablet. one of the questions they asked me was, how would i describe my damage, minimum, moderate or extreme. i said moderate since i lost half my carport, some siding from my back gable, lost electric outlets, had leak where the carport tore off. they said an inspector would come to see. inspector never came. i got a letter from them and they said my claim was deneid because i catagorized my damage as minimum, which i did not. i mention this because when the clerks were interviewing me, i was wearing my trump 2024 tshirt.. i believe this is why they turned my moderate damage into minimum damage..
