@kirstygriffiths74927 күн бұрын
@ mugs ? Come on Lyn…. Huge amount of plastic free packaging, slow, but we’re seeing less single use plastic. Do you eat fish ? You do realise old / dumped commercial fishing gear is the majority of plastic in the sea? A fully recyclable clear container from M&S is not the problem.

The quality and selection of specialty food and the cost is a steal compared to over here in Canada 🇨🇦. I miss M&S since it left Canada. As a Ex-Pat, I loved M&S for everything. You might find it’s expensive because the prices have risen over the years, but it’s still a better deal than over the pond. Count yourselves lucky! Watching this video has made me miss living in the U.K. …I want to go back!😢

I’m done with M&S, prices are absolutely ridiculous, I don’t trust any supermarkets any more. Shopping local/farmers markets from now on. Happy Christmas 🎄
@iAMChrisCC10 күн бұрын
You don't trust supermarkets where they have audits, standards and traceability on all products, yet you'll happily buy stuff from markets which could be literally anything and you'd never know?? Wow.

Thanks Kirsty for another great vlog, love how you put the prices on the screen in case we missed them of the shelves, very disappointed M&S didn’t have their musical selection box this year as I always get it for my son and his wife as she loves to keep it as a keepsake and I thought it was worth the money as so unusual, keep up the good work from 🏴

It’s a shame they’re neck deep in the Bovaer debacle - yet refuse to talk about it. I’ve tried many times this week to contact them. I’m put on hold, in a queue, then unceremoniously cut off. I used to shop there regularly but not any more.

Coming to a posh cocktail party near you. No I definitely would not buy a lot of this because of the prices, or wait until Christmas Eve and the yellow stickers but we don't have a local one now.

I used to live really close to an M&S. I bought 4 yellow sticker turkeys and put them in my mother in-laws freezer one Christmas Eve! Best bargain ever
@clpar-k2xАй бұрын
@kirstygriffiths749 mother in law bought a couple of cheap turkeys from a supermarket just after new year and kept them in her freezer, ready to serve one up the following Christmas!
@frugalitystartsathome4889Ай бұрын
They’re very much overpriced, especially at Christmas. I mean, six quid for a small pot of gravy that would perhaps be enough for two people if they’re not greedy - come on! I bought one of their smoked gammon joints the other day, paid twice as much as at any other supermarket expecting wonderful things. Frankly, it tasted no better or worse than anything I’ve had from anywhere else at half the price, the only consolation being that perhaps their farms might potentially have higher welfare standards (although even that is dubious, these days.) The cheddar and ham scones cannot possibly be worth seven pounds fifty - they’re made with ham hock which is one of the cheapest cuts and are barely a single mouthful each.

I agree. A milk chocolate advent calendar 80g for kids, £8. They were in sale 15p and still not worth it. Chocolate was horrible. It's snobbery really. If you're intelligent you know about food to a degree and how it's processed etc. X

Hi Kirsty, M & S have yet again given us a great selection of Christmas fare. My husband and I are not good with foods that are smothered with sauces etc. Everything about their food just fills me with joy from the way it is presented on the shelves to the packaging and of course the taste.
