It’s amazing how many people are missing the point with their focusing on whose apartment it was. The scene was never about the apartment; Leonard was just spitballing ideas. The issue is that Leonard will be changing his living situation so he and his wife, like any normal couple, can live together-together being just them, NOT Sheldon, as Sheldon thinks will happen. Whatever change Leonard proposed would still upset Sheldon because he is terrified of change of any kind. The fact that things are changing around his life in this episode is overwhelming for a control freak who is used to having everything as he likes it, and it drives him to leave on that train in the end so he can cope. The problem is a hell of a lot bigger than just an apartment.

A bunch of the comments here are focused on a random idea from Leonard being the reason why Sheldon is upset when there is clearly a bigger underlying issue upsetting Sheldon, which Sheldon himself confirms in the very next scene. Sheldon’s anger has to do with the bigger change of losing his best friend as his roommate and everything else changing in his life so quickly. The “move across the hall” thing was just the easiest thing for him to latch onto without him outright telling Leonard “You can’t move in with your fiancée because I still need you”, something he has to know Leonard would outright and rightfully reject at this point. Pretty simple to understand once the whole episode unravels itself.
