I live in a retirement village in Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia and we aren't allowed to rent our properties to anybody, nor can we invite anybody to stay for more than three weeks, and seeing what these landlords are going through with tenants trashing their homes, I feel bad for them, but a sense of relief for us, along with the rules we have to follow.

That’s crazy how these tenants get away with it. Don’t they do a background check like the US does? If they were here they would be homeless. They need to make their rules more stricter because it’s not fair that the landlord has to use their money to fix it up.

What kind of laws does this country have? It appears that landlords do not have common decent rights. I have watched several of these videos and I would never own a property in that country. I’m from the US and I have gotten tenants out within 3 months for non payment of rent.

The MOMENT you have Won an eviction order it should be carried out IMIDIATELY and it should be the POLICE that did it so you didn't have to wait for the Bailiffs that can take upward of another SIX week to respond in which the person can still live scotfree and trash the place even more.

Because the moment the eviction notice have been filled by the court in my eyes it should count as them now being illegal occupancy that have had plenty of chances (AND time) to leave already so the police should be able to go in and remove them practically within minutes of the court passing the final eviction notice.

2 questions. 1, If the tenant has not paid rent in 2 months, why not start with eviction. Why wait for 10 months or more. 2, Why not show these tenants faces? It may help the next person who would like to rent out a house or flat.

It seems you never paid any attention to the show. After the eviction notice they have to wait for a court date, that's why it takes so long. For your other point, people can still refuse to be displayed on television or not, hence why it is blurred.

Proper vetting could avoid a lot of these issues...some landlords are too nice, naive and inexperienced, with little or no association with other landlords to be able to avoid loser tenants.
