It’s Windows problem I have 12400f and rx6600 and my cpu usage is never more than 5% on menu 1440p

How can you keep that temps with that oc? I have same XFX rx6600. With max frec: 2560, mV: 1090. Fan max speed: 60% On rdr2 i have 80-100 fps no fsr no fg, but my temps when usage 90-100% gpu: Regular temp: 60-65° Hotspot: 80-85°. If i try to set max frec to 2600 o more my hotspot fire over 90° sometimes. Whem use max frec 2700 , hotspot 100° All this keep my mV in 1080-1100.

A very good question. My temps are very cool. Which amaze me too. I see these temps only with this GPU as compared to my other GPU's. 1 I didn't fiddle with voltage. 2 my case air flow is very good. 3 my room temperature that time was in winters almost 18c. 4. This GPU is almost like new. 5. I believe it's like a silicone lottery. Because same vendor same model GPU behave differently. 🙂 Thanks for asking

I did successfully. But then I reset to factory. I try to do lots of research and review on GPU'S. So I keep switching settings and GPU'S all the time.🙂 Thanks for advice.

Undervolting the GPU always safe. Even overclocking. You can go ahead ahead. If it doesn't suit your GPU you can go next level and try MSI afterburner which is better than Adrenalin software.

I would highly recommend keep monitoring GPU temps though under volt should reduce wattage and temperature too.

If you are not sure. Don't overclock or undervolt your gpu. It's a 20 % boost. The main boost is the fluid motion frames and fsr. Which is 200 % boost. Only enable that.

OC is 10 to 20 % boost. If your GPU temps goes high the GPU depreciation is quick too. But with undervolting gou with OC is recommended. Temps stays down and power draw goes down too. 😊😊

Yes. I would do that. Rx 6600, you can use AMD Fluid Motion Frames. Which will double fps. And pair a cpu that supports resizeable bar or smart access memory.

A very balanced System. I like the specs. Some time I feel like to upgrade CPU. But it doesn't bottleneck in 1440p and 4K.

For 1080p it's more than enough. Otherwise sky is the limit. I would go for Rtx 4070 ti super. 🙂

see the normal temps as well. I would give e credit to XFX. Now a days I focus on fsr and frame generation. Overclock only increases 15 to 20 % performance. But fsr and frame generation increase performance by 200%

It's true. But only for 1080p resolution. R5 5600 will produce bit more FPS. If we go for 1440p or 4k gaming I doubt. Then we would need higher GPU like rx 6700xt or rtx 3070.
