Impressive...to say the least! I especially like how you leave the job so clean and neat.

I hope Vermeer corporate is aware of how well you operate their equipment. You’ve probably sold several without knowing it. I’m a Bobcat guy and I’m even considering one.

This was a really simple but very impressive video! I wish equipment dealers on my island had these machines available 😂

This is awesome! How do you avoid sprinkler lines? I need some shrubs removed, but I’m worried if the damage.
@SchottServices Жыл бұрын
If the customer has a sprinkler system, I will ask them to mark the heads to get a better idea of where lines may run. Unfortunately, unless they have a map from the installer of the system, then I do not know exactly. Surprisingly, I have only cut a handful over 20 plus years of being in business!

How much did you charge for this job?

I don't remember unfortunately

No problem, I’m just in the process of starting my own business and would love a successful person in this space to help me out. My biggest thing is bidding and winning jobs while still walking away with a profit. Just trying to figure that out.
@SchottServices11 ай бұрын
There is a bit of art to bidding jobs, which I probably haven't entirely figured out yet! I've bid jobs thru the years where I thought I had the job. Then I never hear back from the customer. I've bid jobs where I think I'll never hear back from the customer and they call back right away! I suggest that you figure a day rate(I don't charge by the hour) then do a few bids. If no one is calling you back then lower your rate. If you are getting every job then maybe start raising your prices. Do your best to connect and communicate with your customers. Golden rule: Treat others as you want to be treated!

they had swinger and waldon loaders back then. Just as good or better than this. Some employers just don't value their employee's backs.
