Could not agree more with "use the tools you've invested in." Experiment and see what does & doesn't work. Your viewers learn from your experiments, and we appreciate you sharing the information

I have a New Holland C145 and to do this I use my Danuser Terminator. It’s bigger and longer snout, and the teeth are more aggressive.

Brock - Thank you for showing how effective all the different options work for stump removal

I agree Brock, I'm guilty of using the wrong tool for the job because that's the tool I own. People are usually amazed at what I can accomplish and get done with what I have. It may take a little longer and a little more thinking but it's always better then spending extra money.

Good morning Brock. Back in the day when a few of us were into drag racing we had a saying. "You run whatcha brung." Same goes here. If you don't quite have the right tool for the job, you use what you have on hand. I'm like you, if you're going to take the tree out then take the whole tree out. I also think that this video shows what an attachment is capable of even though it might not be the right tool for the job used occasionally when needed. God bless and have a wonderful day.

I know that feeling you get when the stump starts to wiggle. And what a victory when it finally breaks free! The bigger the stump, the bigger the reward. Nothing is free, and that goes for stump removal. Some are just more work than others. Persistence is the key. Carry on, my friend.

POWER WASHER, POWER WASHER, POWER WASHER and cordless reciprocating saw to cut the roots along with a trenching spade to remove the slurry mud, no digging. Really does work, examine a removed stump, not that many roots. Whenever possible, leave at least 6 to 10' height for leverage. Go luck, always fun to watch people removing stumps the non-easy way. Take care 👍

Excellent job on that removal! That tool worked ver very well. I have a Deere 550H. LGP Dozer that I use on large stumps and it takes some time and I get a much much larger hole to fill back In. It looked really efficient to me taking it out with the stump puller! Great content show what you can do with the SS and puller

Tree puller beat the backhoe for small to medium size stumps, but I believe the backhoe would win here.

Brock, love the content with you keeping it real. 11:26 in the video, the puller was open and you were pushing. Be careful, you could bend the cylinder on the puller.

All of the "right tools for the job" people don't actually live in the real world. Your hard work is paying off. I bet you remember well the days of a shovel, axe, truck, and a chain to do these types of jobs. I'm glad to see your youtube business working out, and it's an inspiration to my tiny channel

Like all of us do, use what you got! If that doesn't get the job done, then look for other options. I get a lot of jobs done with my 3650 Kubota tractor. I get told to quit using it like a skid steer, but it's here and paid for. If I buy or rent something else, then it cost me money and I enjoy using my little tractor to get things done.

My D7 struggles with stumps that big, and makes a huge mess after it pushes them out, this is way cleaner and didn't look like it took much longer

I have an excavator attachment for my skid steer that i use to dig out these bigger stumps, but i wish i had your tree puller for the smaller ones! Pine is pretty easy, i can plow most of those down with the bucket, but most hardwoods over like 2 inches in diameter just bend over instead of breaking or pulling out. If you wanted to, you could use the skid you already have and but the exterra e60 excavator attachment, Wich is what i have, just the digging attachment is only around 1700, but i also got the grapple attachment, wich replaces the bucket and works with the removable thump, which i also recommend unless you already have a dedicated one .

I want a backhoe for the skid loader. Most of them are the type that you operate from sitting in the cab. Is that what you have? There are a few they have an external seat.

Still doesn't count, that stump was rotten. 😂. How well does that thing work for trenching? I always look for the multi use tools, and i bet that thing would dig a pretty good trench as well.

For your “average” stump grinder rental (25-35hp gas machines) that stump would have easily taken 45min to fully grind (yes even after the stem was cut flush)

When doing this, expect for your entire yard to be destroyed. Best thing to do is cut it down as low as you can, and just grind the stump.

I definitely try to push it over at the beginning. 90% sure that that was included in the video but if it’s not I just didn’t keep that shot when I edited the video I know that I tried pushing on it after digging for 20 minutes and it still wouldn’t work
