I like crappie but bream is my favorite. I normally do em like you done whole. Cause the meat pretty much falls off clean from the bone anyway. Me and a friend took a little john boat to a pond that water was a couple feet low because had to repair the spillway or dam. Old pond out in the country. We caught 58 big bream Friday evening for 2hrs and 3hrs Saturday. Just about every one were big like yours. It got to where you had to take a break after a while. The cork disappeared soon as the hook touched the water. Man you talking about a good time! It wasn't fishing, it was catching! Enjoyed the video!

Man I love gill fishing but I hate cleaning them. I do it because the taste if off the charts. I use a shorter rod and smaller cork than you do but other than that we are on the same page. Fried gills and taters is death row last meal worthy.
