What makes you think it’s a few years? Could it be based on these verses that it’s only a few months? Revelation 18:23, Amos 8:12, Jeremiah 51 particularly verses 1,6-9, 33-34, 44-53, Hosea 6:1-3 and Joel 1: 5, 10-20, and 2:1.. Also take a look at Ezekiel 38.

And the Bible is being proved archaeologically and historically accurate each and every day with new discoveries constantly being unearthed. This last month the Hubble telescope was found inaccurate and old technology as the JWST is 100 times more powerful and shows much more details. Scientists had a big bang theory and felt that the stars in a certain part of the galaxy were getting older based on this theory. This new telescope proves that the stars are actually very young in that area and disproves the theory of evolution. The Bible on the other hand, though old, is proven more and more accurate as time goes on. We have Nebuchadnezzar‘s dream of the statue depicting how time would play out, and Daniel’s accurate chapter 11 depiction of historical events that were yet future in his day. Jesus came in fulfillment of old testament prophecies. And here recently Jeremiah 51: 46 to 51 accurate two years of Covid with masks covering the faces and the side effect of the vaccine being heart issues. Then ,there’s Joel 1: 15-20 That accurately told us that the cattle would have no pastures, and the sheep would be made desolate. Ranches in Texas had to sell off much of their herds because there’s no pastures due to drought . And in England ,6000 head of sheep in one farm alone were incinerated because of hand foot disease. Pretty accurate, and definitely real, true information unlike the news reports we often hear today.

Pr. Batchelor - I don't know if you'll actually get to read this but I wanted to commend you for doing something right. I actually see three raptures in the scripture starting with people vanishing into thin air then the dead in Christ rising up to be with Him as He returns. Then ... the passing away of this reality as the perfected go to eternal paradise. I see this ... but I won't argue it - because the first will only have a small flock going - which means many will remain. ... and those who do remain will struggle to hold on to their faith. When reading about the plagues in Revelation 16, the last thing it says is Jesus coming in the clouds, so it certainly does not support us being taken to Heaven before the plagues when it has Jesus coming at the END of the list rather than the beginning.

Your knowledge of biblical eschatology is right on, the bride of Christ will not suffer the wrath of God we will be in heaven for the seven year marriage supper of the lamb and return with Christ at his second coming read first Thessalonians 4:16 and Revelation 3:10 these scriptures can only be explained as a pre-tribulational raptur. The Bride of Christ will not suffer the wrath of God but only the unbelieving world and the nation Israel.

Study all the verses covering this subject, dont just look at from a few verses because this is dangerous way of studying the Bible. You're right. There is a rapture of Church Age believers before the 7-year Tribulation period. When he referenced Jesus talking about the "abomination of desolation" spoken of by Daniel in Mathew 24:15, Pastor Batchelor said Jesus was referring to Daniel 12. But he didn't mention the main verse about that, which is Daniel 9:27. He's telling them what the AntiChrist will do. He will walk into the Temple and stand in it and claim to BE God. That's abomination. Daniel 9:27 specifically uses the phrase "abomination of desolation" that Jesus says in Matthew 24:15. It's a time of God's wrath on unbelievers and it's not for Church Age Believers. Gentiles do get saved during the 7-year Tribulation, which is also the point of it. God wishes all man to come to the knowledge of Him. But we are not appointed to that time of Gods wrath. Jesus specifically tells us that in several places: 1 Thessalonians 5:9, Romans 5:9. He says in 1 Thessalonians 1:10 he'll rescue us FROM the coming wrath. And again in Revelation 3:10. God never pours his wrath on the righteous. When Paul said all who live godly in Christ will suffer persecution - that's talking about persecution from satan. Not God. We've been persecuted for 2,000 years from Satan. The church is espoused to Christ (Ephesians 5:26) God will not pour his wrath on the Bride of Christ. Please, don't worry about that. Paul had to go back and assure the Thessalonians for this same reason in 2 Thessalonians 2. Don't be shaken in mind, he says. They thought they were in the Day of the Lord (Tribulation) and were panicking because that's not what Paul taught. They'd been deceived. Read that whole chapter and you'll feel Paul's assurance. Sorry, to continue... with Revelation is admireable but in my bible it says in Revelation 7 that a great multitude, uncountable, will come out of the great tribulation not go though it; would that make it Mid-tribulation?
