Learning to knit crotchet, embroidery, sewing is very good for a young person especially young girls. We learnt to do all of that on primary school and continue so. My mother was very hood all those and helped me if needed enem i was learning

If those are honey bees they would be great for your plants that flower and you could have honey, BUT I used to support a family in Tanzania, and they lost their young boy to bee stings. So you and Peter are right about removing them because the kids are much much more important than honey.
