Joyce did you think of having a washing machine in your kitchen ? I think you should have a plumber make a provision for it so that one day when God blesses you with one you will not be breaking your tiles and cupboards to have it fixed

Joyce you can paint the kitchen tiles any color you choose maybe choose a color that’s in the floor tiles that will match I think that just might work better than the contact paper because in time with the heat of the stove it will bubble up and peel when you can just paint over all of them the same color and if get dirty u can just wipe down with water and a rag.

Ceiling, walls all looks good white. And new windows should be considered as well, those windows look like hospital or jail windows.

With all due respect, this family does not have a lot of money. To change windows when they already have working windows and still have more important things(like ceilings )to finish is a bit unwise. But I would like to see the windows when they can afford painting them. I think they would look lovely painted white. In most cases it’s better and more wise to fix what one have, than buying new things. And Peter and Joyce are masters of taking care of what they have and calling it a blessing. ❤ It is a lesson most of the wealthy world have not mastered yet.

Hi Joyce and Peter, am glad you decided not to put a sink in the dining area because the kitchen already has a sink. Do one area at a time so that you won't be thinking of everything all at once. You will be overwhelmed. So you can leave the tiling of the walls for the last in that way you'll know which areas need tiling and what colors you want. It will all come together nicely!
