You're only confessing to God because you think there isn't going to be consequences. But there will be. You're still lying to your spouse, even if you confess it to God. Divorce and remarriage is adultery. Mark 10: 11-12, Luke 16:18. Only death breaks the covenant, Romans 7:2-3, 1 Cor 7:39.
