Haven't commented in a while. Just dropped to say thank you to Dan and also to say to other people to be patient and avoid stressing about the time-frame. That was the last key to the puzzle (at least for me). Getting there is not linear but there will be definite signs along the way that will boost your confidence (even if they are small or rare). Eventually, you will be there without knowing it. I 'm not bullshitting. Real person here. Almost a decade of chronic pain ended after 2- 3 years in to this. Thank you Dan; you were able to make me trust that there is actual hope in the beginning and you were right. *I 'm hoping that a simple comment like this will give a person the slight push they need to keep going. I know that sometimes, that was the case for me. Best wishes y'all!

One of the things I am giving myself permission to do this year is to sit in nature and observe everything that is going on all around me. Learning to relax fully in just being still. Allowing my mind and body to come to a place of peace. Love and blessings to everyone.🪴🍀🌳🍁

Exactly! Isn’t it MAD that we have to learn to give ourselves permission for that? That giving of permission was a big light 💡 bulb for me too! Enjoy🌲🌳🦫🐞Susie❤

Thank you Dan for great video yet again! Congratulations on the book! Love your simple approach to all these symptoms from our brains interpretation of false danger. The mind is SO powerful. My husband was in the ICU last January with actual medical issues and had a 2 percent chance of surviving, he told himself he wasn't going to die and fought for his life literally and survived due to that belief and mindset! Due to that event my body however plunged into a panic attack followed by a ton of physical anxiety symptoms and I've been working my way out of that, I appreciate all you do. Stay strong everyone, the mind is powerful ✨️

I discovered Dr. Sarno over 15 years ago saving myself from 9 months of hell searching and searching and going to multiple doctors trying to figure out what could be wrong with me. Diagnosing myself with conditions I didn’t have. What a life saver his information was. Right now, after severe stress that piled up one incident after another in a short period of time, my same symptoms resurfaced. Glad to have found your videos to reinforce what I know to be true. Your voice, your knowledge = giving my brain that additional dose of “all is OK”. Thanks Dan!

Last weekend I had a holy cow moment. Saturday afternoon I could barely walk because of pain in my left leg. I knew what it was and stayed calm. Sunday morning I felt much better and despite a little pain I ran 5 km. The rest of the day? Hardly any symptoms.

Hi Dan. Iv this back pain for 1.5 years now and its constant, all day every day. Within these years im doing streches, breath work, workouts, pt you name it. But i also within this time started to recognize some things that doesnt make sense like im pain free on holidays, im pain free when im doing something that i like, im pain free when im happy. Like few days back i listened to you and every time i think about simptoms i would say to myself im fine, its all good, ill be fine soon and got better these days. Then i said okey im gonna go further and quit all the exercises i do and since that day im back to thinking of how ita gonna be without exercises and im back to simptoms. I am person who is overthinking about everything and my simptoms are not exceptions, man simptoms now are 50% of stuff that i think throu out the day and im perfectionist, so the way i fighting simptoms has to be perfect. So basically when im not thinking about simptoms im thinking how to fight them. Getting to the point when i shift my thinking about the simptoms and calm myself that they are fine, theyll be gone soon, this seems to work perfectly, but when i try to quit exercises i keep on thinking about them. I might have fear that this step will bring simptoms and jusy keep on thinking and the thinking brings the simptoms. How should i transition from doing exercises to fight back to full tms aproach. Thanks in advace and sorry for my english.

@@delitecreative I think my worry before I went is what ramped up my symptoms . I actually threw up in the airport and felt like running away. But once I was on the plane I just accepted ‘whatever happens , happens’ and then it all went better than expected !

@michellemoore9030 That's great attitude, thats I was thinking whatever happens I am going even if I need to crawl. But then my nerves got the better of me and my pain symptoms got so bad, I still have few days before the flight. I do my best to calm down.

RA is not officially TMS, but a lot of auto-immune conditions I believe are essentially a more severe form of TMS. Check out Rita La Barberra's interview with Dan. While she didn't have RA, she had CRPS (a severe form of TMS) and this was considered "incurable", yet she recovered and is helping others now. Perhaps contact her for one-on-one session. Also, I believe IFS therapy had clinical trials with RA and was proven to reduce and eliminate RA symptoms in may of the trial participants. If you're in the US there's a tonne of great IFS practitioners there, just google IFSI and search their therapist page. You will revover.

I have a typical constant pain trigeminal neuralgia after dental surgery many years ago. My neurologist and others say this is not TMS this is nerve damage. My pain never went from tooth to tooth it always stayed in one tooth. One area I should say because after a tooth is pulled it goes to the next tooth which is common. I’ve recently been very upset the past month that the pain is spreading to other teeth bottom teeth right side when My usual pain is on the upper left and although that’s still always there it’s jumping to other areas pretty bad. And I know that’s one of the symptoms that I didn’t have of Tms, my pain didn’t move, now it’s moving and I’m still questioning why is it there? All the sudden? Is this showing me it is TMS? Or are my Teeth just going bad from clenching so much As I also have TMJ pain. I just now realized maybe it’s because it IS TMS.
@othervideos4002
@othervideos4002 8 күн бұрын
I seriously doubt your pain is because of damaged nerves or teeth. Nerves don't get permanently damaged from dental work. Teeth don't go bad (unless you have an untreated cavity, which you don't). No doctor really knows what causes trigeminal neuralgia. Based on what you are saying, I would say there is a 99.999% chance it is TMS. It's a severe case of nervous system dysregulation. Sarno himself discussed tooth pain due to the trigeminal nerve and he cured himself using his own method. He discusses it in the Mindbody Prescription.
