I didn't hate Dragoneer's Aria so much, but trying to level up was BS. I only got as far as the dude guarding the World Tree who was unfair to battle! I can still hear him taunting me... "ALL SINNERS... MUST PAY"

Dragon ball Evolution was one of the games my father bought me when he got my PSP and since it was one of the only games I could play when I was young I completed it and maxed out all of the saved data slots. It was my worse game by far and I hate it

Dragon Ball Evolution was nice, it had Shin Budokai's Gameplay system which was very good, and some movesets are nice to play with.

Dragooner’s Aria was terrible of a RPG. I gave it a shot when I saw it on sale one day on the PS Store on the Vita. Terrible voice acting, dreadful difficulty spikes, gameplay mechanics was something I just couldn’t fathom

Astonisha Story and Dragoneer's Aria seem out of place here, if only because they feel more like "real games" than the other titles on this list. They're RPGs with original characters and actual storylines. That alone elevates them beyond the obvious shovelware and licensed games that make up the rest of this list.

That TMNT game, is it the same thing as the console versions? Or is it's own thing, cause I was eyeing the 360 version, since it was the only HD console that game was on and it was a tie in to the CGI 2007 Movie, which was alright and felt more like more of a Sequel to the third entry of the live action series, still better than 3...

I love and played a lot of PSP, still do. But as it's the case with most successful consoles/handhelds, they accompany a shitload of garbageware, the PSP started fine and the iPhone was released a few years later, so late 2000's and up to the mid 2010's, handhelds like PSP, Vita, 3DS and even some consoles like Wii and PS3 had to share the "casual" era, it's clear to me that Vita and 3DS ultimately suffered mainly because of this time where gadgets were everywhere, phones and tablets doomed real gaming devices, just compare the numbers for the PSP and NDS, both together selling over 250mi~ units, with great exclusives. That's not to say that casual gaming isn't fun but I think Sony and Nintendo needed to keep their Vitas and 3DSes apart from this, it's like those devices didn't know exactly what they were in the market. With all that, it would be really interesting if you could cover dedicated episodes to download only games, those that are really good and others like this video that suck. I remember enjoying Zombie Tycoon, Arctic Adventures and Tetris a lot on the PSP.

"Coffin Dodgers" is an awesome new game that's like Mario Kart & Fun to platinum.. Its kind of like "Pocket Racers" but instead of the devil ots the grim reaper taking out elderly people who lose the races. It actually has Amazing mechanics and is Super Smooth!! So where Pocket Racers sounded interesting but was clearly a flop, this is with a similar concept but pulled off great!!

I'm waiting for terrible ports of great (maybe underrated) games. An example I could think of is the PS1 port of Acclaim's PC game; Re-Volt, the worst port/version of all the ports for the game, the N64 port is good (only suffering from graphics, framerate and minor physics issues, the gameplay's still great) while the Dreamcast version is excellent (nearly on par with the PC original while adding some exclusive content and differences).

i recently discovered your channel via a list of hidden gems for 3ds, and i've been going through your channel's back catalogue for the last few days. i've really been enjoyed what i've seen so far, especially this 'shockingly terrible' series and your series of forgotten games and hidden gems. thank you so much for bringing pocket card jockey to my attention, btw, because i've been having an absolute blast with it. however, and i mean this with the utmost respect and with no intention to start a fight, i've noticed in these shockingly terrible videos that you sometimes say that a developer didn't even try, or had no passion, etc? and imo i feel like this is maybe conflating developer with publisher. unless the developer is a self-publishing privately held company or individual, often the responsibility truly lies in publishers cutting costs by deliberately not giving developers the resources and/or time to make a quality game, and developers end up taking the blame instead of those actually responsible, which is a real shame. obviously there are most definitely cases where it truly is on the developer for making a bad game, lord knows we've seen enough shovelware factories, but this seems to be the minority as far as i can tell. i just want us to hold the ones in this industry actually responsible for pushing garbage to account rather than the developers being exploited, you know? i always wonder what could have really been done with a lot of these underwhelming and awful games if they'd had the resources to be given the care they deserved. except that crazy frog racing game. few things could end up redeeming a crazy frog game.

Settle a debate for me. The other half is under the impression that the intro music to your videos is from (oe at least in) a videogame. Me being very clever shazam'd the shit out of it and its from we grind by Ruthless e. But did you actually take it from there or from a game. If the latter then which one? Never mind its from the intro music to tekken 2. Ruthless e more than likey just used the sample themselves as namco do take most of their music from sound librarys themselves so anyone can use it as long as they purchased that sound library

It's not really a shock since playstation always seems to have the biggest game library of any console but the majority of the game's are complete trash and only the big triple A Tittles get recognized while a small amount become hidden gems later on, that being said I still prefer Sony over other platforms besides pc
