God damn. Diff with this channel is she has an incredible sense of style / product design. That door is stunning, and a project in itself. Love the choice of green MDF instead of painting.

Nice idea with the slotted doors and perfect execution, as always! I am so relieved that I am not the only one, who sometimes swaps ends or cuts the wrong side of a piece… The faster I work on a project and the cheaper the materials, the more mistakes… On expensive wood, I triple check everything before doing any material removal, but then the projects usually run for weeks or months...

Always nice to see you! I have a similar corner in my entryway and I've been puzzling over how to handle it because the space is very narrow. When I saw you put your shoes in the cabinet sideways my draw dropped and I thought "So obvious! Why did I never think of that?!" Thanks, as always, for the inspiration!

Beautiful - especially the combination of the maple wood and the green MDF I like exceptionally well. Beautiful furniture is unfortunately very rare nowadays, and if you find it, it is priceless. I admire people like you who can create such gorgeous things, because I am unfortunately completely talentless.

Wow that coloured MDF is dope, I guess it means if the material is scuffed the colour is all the way through, it wouldn't chip or scuff like paint. Neat

Really amazing work, Cris! Beautiful cabinet! 😃 Soon I'm going to have to build something pretty similar, but without doors... For my father's really old stereo... I guess he bought it in 1978, a bit after I was born. 😬 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Wow, just realised now how close you're to a Million subs! I've been following you for so long (I guess since they Loft-Bed project?) and never took a look at the sub count. Keep up the good work Cristiana. It's always a pleasure to see your projects. I love the detail of the door being slatted, not sure if you thought about it for ventilating your shoes or if it was just a design choice, but it's those little details that kept me watching your vids for so long. Hope everything's fine and the weather up there in Porto is not so bad as down here. These have been some crazy hot days, I wonder how one could keep working with all that equipment and movement adding to the heat sensation.

Amazing cabinet! love the door and that they're inset. if i may share from experience with solidwood and dominos/dowels: if you glue them in in stages and not in both sides at once. glue the end grain in first, that way, if they move or the holes are not all exactly the same depth or whatever it is that makes them not stand out to the same length, you can simply run them through the saw and make them the same length, if they're in the side of a panel its more of a pain. otherwise awesome!

I LOVE your use of that pre-coloured MDF. MDF is always seem as the wood you hide away and other wood for the visible bits. But actually the pre-coloured stuff has its own charm (and avoids the main issue of MDF being how to treat it) and i love your style when you use it! Random q: how durable has it been long term? Ie dents and divits etc?

E de novo, um trabalho excelente Cris! I always stop to watch as soon as the notification drops, no matter what! The algorithm NEEDS to understand how amazing your content is. Can't wait the media console's videos (any chance to make it a series?). And the floor being anything but leveled is something so on brand for the tiny apartment lol And you inspires me so much, that recently me and my partner took an old wardrobe apart and made 7 other pieces with it. I can swear that the wood multiplied! And if it wasn't for your videos, I wouldn't risk it... I wouldn't even bother to try. The pieces aren't perfect, but are functional and fit perfectly the their spaces - what is more that i was hoping for. Thank you so much!

This is beautiful. A stunning piece, wonderfully executed. The green is so striking. But I am concerned about the lack of a respirator/mask when working with so much MDF dust. Maybe it was just out of frame, but if not, please be careful. MDF dust is very dangerous to inhale.

I like that you called it "my floating tenon machine" instead of a domino. For some reason, i'm unnaturally averse to naming the brands i own. I refer to my car as "the EV" instead of the specific well known company. If i took a picture with my phone, i just say that, rather than specifically naming the model. Maybe i fear coming across as a shill or something? Who knows. Anyway, i like the project a lot. Thanks for sharing this video.
