Shoehorning A V8 Into A Chevrolet S10 Blazer: Air Box Mods

In this video, I detail the installation of the Hooker Blackheart A/C Evaporator side cover that fits the 1994-2004 S-10/Sonoma S15 and S10 Blazer. Part # 71223028HKR

My buddy had a old square body S-10 Blazer with a 350 out of a Corvette in it that had been modded to what we assumed to be about 350 to 400 horsepower. It was a death trap but it was a fun death trap to say the least.

When I put my LS2 in I just took the airbox off and plated it up because I'm young and dumb lol But I'm stoked for this build!

When I started watching KZbin a few years back, all the channels I watched were gun channels. Then I got into watching channels from Utah that took me into fabricating vehicles -- off road recovery, rock crawling. Got a lot of advice on vehicle issues an dealing with them. And now, my favorite gun channel branches out and goes automotive. Any plans for building a rock crawler in the future?

How much extra room does it make ? I put an l31vortec 350 in my 96 two door would like to mount my fuel pressire regulator for the carb swap there where your coils would b on a ls ?

Not another LS swap. When will that fad end? I built an old school carbureted 383 small block for my '93 square body S-10 2 door, 2 wheel drive short bed, and mated it with a 1969 Muncie 4 speed "rock crusher" transmission.
