Man I'm looking forward to how you keep on this project. Not a GM guy, but am a gearhead regardless. Wished I had the space for another project, but hopefully at some point I can keep working on my Dad's old 96' Ford truck. Way to show the folks how to keep that project cost low and effective too!

I swapped a LM7 and 4l60e into my 94 S10. Whole swap, including the cost of the truck cost me less than $2K. Its been my daily for the past six months or so.

Good way to get a free LS is to buy a front end wrecked truck and sell the bed and doors off it. I’d be looking for a wrecked Camaro with a T56 if I was you
