Stumble open this 7 years old video. Nice informative video. Owned Arai, Nolan and Shoei. Nothing beats the Shoei in all aspects. The comfort. The airy air flow inside. The noise reduction and the aerodynamic of this helmet really number one. The downside is just this helmets spare parts costs more than Arai or Nolan. To see how it is made really made my day. Worth the money spend. Getting a new helmet for my son. It will be Shoei of course. Never look back to other brand since I used this brand. Thank you Shoei for covering my bald skull

I disagree, they are both excellent but like all motorcycle gear they are a compromise between competing design agendas , Arais are perhaps more track focused.

I have had 6 in my motorcycle career and they do not warrantee any helmet they sell! With every helmet that I have purchased, they have a defect and will not warrantee. This is the foam in the chin guards and the very top!!! No matter how you take care of it. My newest one is only 1 and a half years old. It broke down too! It is a rf1200. Love the helmet but horrible quility. They will not work with the customer. Very disappointed with a 650.00 helmet. I have a Icon Dragon lady wore a lot, 10 years old still functions as it did.
