You can tell both Sam and Tom were raised very well. They aren’t there effing and blinding with a potty mouth. I understand they’re probably being careful with their language for the videos, but still it’s not like the editor is constantly having to bleep out their language if they forget. So nice to see that good looking young men can still have such nice manners and respect. Makes them even more likeable. Really hope we can get Sam to 100k before the end of year. He really deserves every bit of success this brings him. So many on KZbin don’t deserve the platform they have. And are really not likeable people. Sam (and Tom) couldn’t deserve it more. I grew up in Friesland, where the Friesians originate from. I have fond memories of cycling through the countryside and seeing pastures full of Friesians grazing. It's quite an experience to ride one, especially an energetic stallion. I live in the UK now and I'm always happy to see a familiar sight of a Friesian in the UK, even if it's on video.

@ yes those inspections are great to watch. It's an important step to becoming a registered stud. As this breed ward almost extinct a hundred years ago, maintaining and managing a thorough stud book process is crucial for the survival of this breed.

I adore all horse breeds but Freisians are my absolute favourite. So handsome, magestic and rightly aware of their beauty ♥ Watching them high step when pulling a carriage is just poetry in motion. To think that the breed came so close to extinction when in 1906 there were only 3 purebred Stallions remaining! In 1913 the society Het Friesh Pard was founded to conserve the breed and the rest as they say is history. We are so blessed now to have these stunning Black Beautys' to feast our eyes upon 😍😍😍

May I suggest some additional topics for consideration? 1. An emergency euthanasia was performed on the famous racehorse Secretariat due to laminitis. How can laminitis be an emergency? Aren’t there noticeable symptoms? 2. Can a hoof actually be pulled off? 3. Who to call first? Farrier or vet? What’s the best frequency to schedule farrier visits? Sometimes it looks like people wait too long. 4. What is the HPA of the foot you keep mentioning? Thank you.

I watch the FriesianHorses YT channel. It's the channel of a breeding stable, but you could skim through to watch the horses move. If you go to older videos, 2+ years ago, there is more of the dressage riding and carriage driving.

Good morning to our Sunshine boys! 🥰❤Hope your weather is nicer than mine today. Winds blowing high enough for both wind and low level flooding warnings for the day, due to all our rain. One good thing about the wind, nearly all the leaves off our 40+ yr old Maple trees. Now if the seed pods would also fall at same time I wouldn't need to keep raking until nearly Jan. 🤪 Dad's been home for 8 days, gradually getting his strength back. Physical therapist here yesterday to do evaluations. Talked about things he/we need to keep track of everyday. Next week he will likely start seeing the PT 2 times a week. Sometime in next few days Occupational therapist will be in contact so he/we can learn what he needs to do to regain his own independence. Also having to readjust medications due to a healthier diet. If we get his sugar levels under regular control he may not have to take as much medicine or possibly none, or only one medication. He had type 2 which you can control most of the time with proper eating and exercise habits. Sadly, he has always beat to his own drum, hence a few of the problems we are now having to deal with. Will rewatch your video when I can finally find some time alone. 🥰❤

Yes, Gary! I'm pretty used to see Freisan mares and skinny colts, so I always forget how heavy set the stallion can get - especially one leaning towards the draft shape rather than the sleeker sport. Great work as always, boys!
