Great story and great reminder. I live in Syracuse NY and winters here are bitter. I just ordered a shelter supply of socks, hats, mittens, scarfs and blanks to take to the homeless shelter. I was going to put packages together to drop off at the local shelter that had a mobile unit that takes things to the homeless that refuse to come in out of the cold. There is enough to put 20 packages together. It's a perfect opportunity to get others involved, hopefully the younger generation so they can learn to do the same. Lead by example is important but leading by getting others involved carries things a lot further.

This girl was lucky because she got the chance to help people less fortunate, which totally opened her eyes and changed her as a person. What a pity most of the self centred teenagers around us don’t get to be put in the same situation, if they did there’d be a lot of nicer and less shallow people around, as well as fewer bullies. Great movie and perfect cast.

Amen to that the mirror and the real meaning of Christmas is the birth of Jesus Christ so many people overlook that and worry about gift buying and rushing around and buying presents that is not what Christmas is about at all it’s about the birth of Jesus Christ and how the animals celebrates that anymore it’s all about money and things that are just gonna disappear one day and be gone I am a Christian and I celebrate the birth of Jesus on Christmas and I can’t believe how many people don’t even believe in Jesus and they’re going to be so sorry in the end because I know where my heavenly home is and I am ready to go there anytime God wants to take me
