I loved the magazine with the original Conlon image and the comparison to the strip card. I loved the details on Shoeless Joe’s life and times (and bat!). This is a thought provoking home run effort. Great to see you on KZbin! Hard Ban from MLB and the Hall on both Shoeless Joe and Rose. Gambling can destroy the sport and given the new risk of players surrounded by it, the penalty needs to be harsh. Joe Jackson is the more sympathetic tragic hero while Rose continued to bury himself.

People don’t realize that the Chicago White Sox didn’t draw as many people for home games for over 20 years after that scandal. The fans left because of being disenchanted. It destroys the foundation and fabric of the game itself if you can’t trust the results

Being from Chicago area I have always enjoyed the stories regarding the Black Sox scandal. Would love to go to Greenville to see his Joe Jackson house/museum. Thanks for sharing your collection. Funny how sportsbooks are now opening up in ball parks....

Wow Tony! After seeing your show with Graig, I had to take a closer look. Congrats to you as clearly, you are doing really well in life as these are huge cards that require a massive card budget. That alone would garner you quite a bit of attention in the card community. But I am really impressed with how polished your entire production is. Its clear you have done a lot of research and are excellent at storytelling. You are a natural out of the gate on camera. On top of that, you are putting together really nice thumbnails, you have good lighting and audio, and smooth editing to make your transitions. Your channel is going to explode and it is well earned as your attention to detail shines through in every aspect. Well done! As for your comment at the end, I agree it's the fame of the scandal that completely drives his popularity. Without it, he's probably comparable to Tris Speaker or Nap Lajoie except with a cool nickname.
