I love it when artists/singers reply when someone says they love them and in concerts they don't ignore when people say they love them
@motsach53975 жыл бұрын
JM is very humble nowadays and he has been seen saying stuffs like that to fans a lot. Like every concert he would thank the fans for making him able to produce music two or three times.
@bryanh30578 ай бұрын
To be fair, most artists, (JM included) wear in-ear monitors and cannot actually hear the audience. Fortunately for the crowd, John tends to only wear one in one ear. Unfortunately for John, this will result in serious damage to his ear over time :(
@Chimp_Handzee4 жыл бұрын
I don't understand how some deadheads can dislike the addition of JM to D&C. Only explanation that makes sense to me is that they are only familiar with John's radio-friendly pop hits and are allowing that to get in the way of enjoying what he brings to the table.

You know how sometimes you hear something or see something so beautiful it doesn't even need to be put in words? This is exactly that. Loved being at this concert. Was mine and my wife's 7th time seeing JM. NEVER gets old.

I was at this concert. Section B row 17 (in the middle on the floor, a little further back from this position; close to the stage). I was able to make my way to about 10 feet away from John before I was asked to return to my seat. Going to this concert was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The amount of emotion I felt with every song was incredible and I can say that I haven't had an experience quite like this. John Mayer is sincerely one of the greatest and definitely my favorite.

I'm so happy that bobby and the drummers and john got together. Some older deadheads ( 49 here) would disagree with me! But this is the guy Jerry talked about so many years ago. " I really hope this thing can continue. Even if it's not the Grateful Dead." Of all the lead guitarist they've tried since his death this is the one who respectfully learned the art of doors and windows.
@jeremywendelin7 жыл бұрын
John Fleshman agree. Seen JM do a few covers of Dead before he joined, was blown away, then he jammed with Bobby on the tonight show then Phil. So impressed. Dead & Company had changed every show. I seen The Grateful Dead and Jerry Garica Band quite a few times, loving every min of Dead & Company!

John is a fantastic guitar player......highly underrated......in today's music he is one of the best period ........he stalled out a bit but I'm so glad he got into Garcia because it has put a whole new dimension to his playing.......seems he likes to challenge himself as a guitarist and I cant wait for what's next.

It was on the setlist (it leaked before the show) but during his solo act there aren't a lot of transitions between songs like there is during Dead shows. That would be the reason for the slight clunkiness

I’m just thinking about how you can judge what a artist is wanting I/e his set list and one of those guitars is not a lead or a rhythm it’s a bass guitar and the a one ☝️ is a lead guitar The man himself and Last but never least you have a rhythm guitarist andbest advice if you don’t think you have a good sense of what your criticizing and you may have meant it to be he’s a very gifted musician all by himself . See my take actually it’s just shhhhh and absorb the mojo of Beauty that your to soul is about and ready to take it in so many things you can open your mind and mouth about in the world 🌍 however you listen and you are just thinking & judging . Listen to the music close your eyes feel the connections between instruments voices high lows the chemistry i is incredible if you let it in .& I don’t do dope and I say partake if you feel comfortable but John Mayer and co. Are just a beat quality natural high and I’m no goody two shoes I have a lot more than five n with purity of this life and its music so try it close your eyes and open the senses try

The Allman Brothers- without the killer guitar duo, soul and guts. what happened to artists that showed us what freedom meant. Is this what American culture is showing the World. Looks more like the reason Hendrix had to leave the USA to get his freak out. As a Canadian I expect more from all of you. I mean where's the show?? I 'm glad I got to see the real entertainers. Prince, James Browne, Sci Fi out grateful dead warriors. Build a wall save your culture. There will be no British Invasion to save you from your wonder bread ways this time. Where has the soul of Motown gone.
