Ok i kinda agree with Emboar in design. It’s a wrestler pig (the sport wrestling not pro wrestling) which I think is cool, my only gripe is how floppy the arms look in relation to its body and how the flame scarf kinda makes his proportions looks weird if you remove it. I guess people just got mad at it evolving into another fire-fighting type and also another fire starter standing up (frankly idc if they do or don’t, people get mad upset at it and I think it’s over-exaggerated how ‘awesome’ it’d be if he was on all fours). Now I have a love-hate relationship with Emboar because this guy has some of the wackiest moves ever in a fire type but he comes out with Heatmor Deluxe stats. 65 in Def/SpD/Speed and then fat HP and attack is so wonky, doesn’t help his HP doesn’t matter when you’re spamming recoil moves cause of reckless. If he had traded some special attack for more defenses he’d have been so so good.

About the N spam at the end: N is one of the few pokemon characters, who has an full character arc. That also deals with the underlying questions about the pokemon world and the nature of the relationships humans have with pokemon. Who isn't an immediate pushover or could be seen as obnoxious like a few others.The dissonance between team plasma's methodology and N's morals allow ghetsis to feel properly threatening as a villain which also allows alot more sympathy for N as a character. After all of that because of the immense backlash of Gen 5 we'll never see that type of story telling again :( .
