Shogun 2 is Spooky

Happy (Belated) Halloween everyone, sorry this video is uploaded a bit later than intended, but still hope you celebrated the holiday the best way possible by playing Shogun 2! In this video I explore and demonstrate the scare enemies ability.
I regret not using ninjas more for the video though lol other than that I hope found it both entertaining and informative. I will make a future video on this ability again for sure. Also apologies for lack of uploads I will try to get better about that.

Do you use a camera mod in multiplayer? Seem to be zooming out like twice as far as I can. Also, I've been experimenting a bit with hand mortars in morale shock strategies like this, wonder if you've given them a shot. Mangos suck because it ties your army to them and fire rockets will jack your troops up too badly trying to fire into melee. Hand mortars I've been using right as the morale shock hits a section, like around 16:00. They hardly kill anyone, so your troops are pretty safe. If they kill a single model, though, that entire unit gets -4 morale. Since you should be fighting at a moral advantage where you're pushing, that'll hit them harder than you; it may not even kill any of your troops, just push 'em away. It won't win an attrition fight the same way fire rockets can, but I think it may be useful in these niche builds. What do you think?

Yeah for that multiplayer match I used the debug camera mode, which a lot of hardcore multiplayers use, it’s got a mixed reputation, I also like to use it for video recording too. In terms of morale shock I would have to test hand motors out more for sure, I know they have the potential to snipe generals, but yeah give them a try and let me know what you find. I’ll definitely look into them more myself. :) thanks for the info!

@Facepalm Full O' Napalm I mean Darnold has managed to create multiple different types of Generals, all with the skill tree. The problem with giving units this skill tree though is the game would recognise them all as either generals or agents, very quickly flooding your tool tips with hundreds of named characters.

Which mods do you use for avatar conquest?

I don't use any mods for it to play, but the ones I recommend to use before you fight battles (since you have to turn them off to find other players) is instant retainers unlock or one that unlocks all retainers, rank 9 veteran unit one (I forgot the name the mod exists), no clan tokens, and there's another that gives 10000 veteran slots to new avatars and an instant rank 10 avatar too, I'll make a mod list for it sometime and make a video on this eventually!

@@Srrrgp Well it would help you have a better experience for sure, there really is no grind because not many players play, its hard to find matches, so most I think resort to mods. Plus there are retainers that are super broken that have a "possibility of dropping" after a battle. It's silly. I've fought so many battles and never got them, so it just makes it better for new players in my opinion.

nope, but there's a "lite" version called "no clan tokens"

Yeah sadly there's the "no clan tokens" only and then an instant rank 9 veteran mod, but none that enable rank 9 upgrades at level 1 or allows you to get multiple clan specialized upgrades for the different types of units. They could return though! :D

Your loan sword ashigaru have 2 lvl 9 upgrades, Banzaii and scare, pls don't use them against human players.

Like I said in the video I don't use them often, and tbh there are a good amount of players that have used those mods and abuse those upgrades like with having both hold firm yari ashigaru and loan swords with banzai. Plus I don't remember if this still works but if you get to rank 7 and have two upgrades you may be able to apply both banzai and scare enemies. Like I mentioned though it was for the purpose of this video

Also I know people who have like duplicate mounted gunner veterans that go from rank 1-rank9 sometimes they don't bring multiple but yeah avatar has devolved into that sometimes. Again I usually don't use those units I have with those upgrades.

yep, hacker indeed. having 2 level 9 abilities is a hack/bug. So all your loan sword ashigaru are hack units... same as having banzai and inspire on a unit.

Not all of them just those yeah, like I said was for the purpose of the video, plenty of other players do the same and do it often, I don't. The same would've happened had they not had banzai. The general died and I surrounded with all units so the battle's outcome would've happened regardless. I also uncaptured the shrine and I had the sword dojo.

And this was against a human player that was low level... using 4 hacked units against a player that doesn´t even have xp enough to know you are cheating. And other do it too?? If your friend kills someone, will you do it too?? What a lousy mentality...

@@ryuu6205 It's matchmade I don't get to choose my opponents so I didn't want to face a low level and like I said for the video it was simply to show scare enemies ability. Usually it's better for newer players to play on the battle list with friends, and yeah there's been countless mods out that enable those things because it's a ten year old game and CA never balanced it. Yeah I usually don't "cheat" this was just the one exception and even if I didn't use those units the result would've been the same because of my experience and the units the player brought. Fire projecting mangonels are terrible so please stop acting like the guy would've won if I didn't bring those units.

You cheat in a matchmade, getting clan tokens and clan influence. Taken points from someone that needs them to grow... And you actually defend your actions?? you have a higher level general, have more funds since you used lvl 2 great guard with lvl 9 abilities. I would have won anyway?? So that gives you the right to cheat?? Like i said, what a lousy mentality... i can see why the world is going to hell with people like this. He is almost a modern woman.
