I mean, the instant someone calls for a surrender pre five minutes the only thing you should do is immediately fullmute and report them and move on with the game. They are more interested in typing than winning, so all you can do is try not to get distracted.

Thanks for the upload! Definitely a bit of an unfortunate game insofar that your lane opponent seemed to definitely have some major issues and the enemy samira clearly being someone smurfing with a friend based on op gg. I often feel very lost in exactly this kind of game as a midlaner for reasons showcased well in this video. They won't always all be there but the more items the more I struggle: - A matchup where it is hard to really push 1v1 so you can't realistically exect to get a good lead - Enemy support starts roaming mid which makes it even harder to get push a ahead - Really hard or impossible to roam due to the way sidelane matchups are going and where the jungler is - Enemy team starts stacking dragons early which puts a hard timer on the game - Really tough to win through teamfights due to super strong enemy champions and no one else on the team being a threat - If you do manage to hold and stabilize you are completely dependent on your teammates not getting randomly caught or running it down, even better if it happens right before lategame objectives It's basically like you say, you just aren't supposed to win these games from a luck distribution perspective, it's a sort of therapy to see the same happening even to you :)

Hey shok, good video as usual. I have found myself in your shoes regarding upgrading an item and it being suboptimal cause of a surprise mr buy. My fix for that was be to just insta sell the Morello as soon as i saw it for cryptbloom, i feel that even tho it feels so bad its that type of play that has to be done you know? Like when you say your objective is to not die in a lane, it sucks, it limits your play, but you just have to so it by playing more passive

Hey shok, i had a couple questions about early vs late game runes as you had discussed. On a champ like ori i feel like there are some team comps where phase rush has insane value (e.g. 3 melees or a v strong ganking jg) but u might have a very winning lane matchup with comet so not sure what you think is better. As a second q not sure when you think first strike is better than aery/comet + scorch on viktor given FS was so buffed but viktor can also hard bully champs like ahri/azir/veigar with laning runes. Would you just go FS every game now that its so op?

For the first question yeah that's a very hard thing to judge, I'd probably go for the phase rush but you kinda just have to judge how worth its gonna be. I think you should default to FS now on Viktor but in contested range matchups e.g. Syndra, Ori you probably have to take comet/aery still

It was really helpful to see you sidelaning in the midgame and your thoughts on pushing/standing still and waiting. I have one question though: What do you do when you just don't have a good side laning options and the side laner that goes to this lane is generally stronger than you?

If you can't really contest sidelane then you probably just want to go to the sidelane to pickup waves when they are going to crash under your tower and then push out 1 wave or so. Other than that you can just spend your time hiding in fog behind mid looking to make a pick or counter an engage

Fase rush more safe, it's good against assassins or any champ that need to melee range you (pantheon, khazix, reksai, olaf). Phase rush allow you to kite while dealing damage. Comet is good for pocking and orianna is the best on that but if your opponent have a lot of sustain it's not that effective. Aery it's better if you can shield, heal or buff while still pocking but with less damage

3 points W + comet is insane vs any ranged champs. Phase rush is good against melees or ganking JGs/supports. Aery imo just isn't that good atm, but you'd probably want to take it into melees with low sustain e.g. Fizz, Qiyana

There's this common sentiment that low elo guarantees you get to lategame, and having stayed there for a very long time, two out of every three games the enemy toplaner got to our inhibitor turret by 15 minutes. If that's not accelerating games, I don't know what is.

What would you say the best role to have impact and carry is, I started jg ling about a year ago because of the high iimpact, but since the nerfs to jg someone like a fed top or midlaner that 1 v 5 s our team seems more impactful.

Having impact doesnt necessarily mean having 1v9 performance, in fact most mages suck at it compared to some junglers and pretty much all toplaners. If you're looking for 1v9 champs there are Vlad, Cassio (but some matchups are aids), AP Twitch, Asol, Ahri, to some extent Taliyah and Syndra, and probably something else

jungle was, is and will be the strongest role by far. even after the jungle nerfs last year it was still the strongest role and after the 14.10 jungle buffs it's not even close anymore. the role is too unique to not be ruined by autofills but it's too unpopular to not suffer from autofills if it's not turbo op broken.

had a faker like game with orianna 11/5/12 did 49k demage and lost because bot lane was 10/26 to end the game combined btw, its just so hard for me to climb when i'm put into many lobbies who don't want to win at all its so sad man, even though i want to improve i can make the difference in fights, i can't play 4v5 every game when one person on my team is handicapped and it seems like noone on the other team is handicapped and just does the right thing.
