Just to let you guys know this was recorded on 14.9 before the blackfire item was implemented, that being said I still don't really like it on Cassio until later in the game and I've mostly been going either Seraph > Liandry/rylai > Liandry/rylai OR ROA > seraph > dcap

I tried it on Cassio bot one game and it was okay, but I feel I got so much more out of rylais. It's great for dpsing drake and it did secure me one kill, but also the slow of rylais would have secured me more kills that game.

what situations do you think is better to build Roa? anyway I think relay on Cassio is a really core item cause the slow is so effective in solo kills but also in team fights, it helps allies hit more skill shots

I think the regular "I smurf to master no education" is different from "I smurf to master and explain everything." I understand that playing in challenger requires a lot more concentration so in depth education is harder. Thanks for the content. I learned a lot.

Even in his challanger games he explains everything in depth. It is just that these unranked to master videos contain more basic knowledge and general rules while his high elo videos contain many more advanced concepts of tempo, vision control, matchup specifics with a smaller amount of basics. Both of them contain a crap ton of information.

Very valuable video. Thanks for taking the time to explain your decision making and general cassio game play. Im a newer one trick and have been having trouble with one thing in particular with Cass and using leads. Can anyone give some pointers on how to best utiliae your lead when enemy team has multiple engage champs and start to focus you? I'm not highly elo or anything but I've hit a point where enemy teams recognize I'm the win con and start to overload my lane constantly. It's especially effective when they're ahead and don't lose much doing so. Do I just ward and try to wait out the early/mid and use the lead after laning? This would be by taking good fights and steer the team to objectives ? I don't actually know and any tips would be appreciated. ❤

Sometimes all you can do is farm and wait for teamfights, but normally if you have good vision down + flash up you should be able to pressure your lane at least

I am trying to learn Cassio this season and the matchup I struggle with most is Lux. Do you have any tips for that? Feels like she can just fuck me up and I can’t really punish her ever unless she unplugs her mouse for a bit

It's pretty unfun, I'd recommend going ROA seraph so the catalyst can help you survive the lane. Just try dodge as many skillshots as possible and hopefully you can out dps her in teamfights

Refer to my cassio guide for specifics but the tldr is Seraphs > liandry/rylai > liandry/rylai > dcap almost always

i notice other players buy either rod of ages or blackfire torch first item but you bought neither. is it because it delays the core three items too much in your opinion and could black fire torch still be viable later on?

Yeah blackfire is really good late game, but I don't think its that worth considering before 5th or 6th item. ROA is good against assassin matchups or if you need to survive a difficult lane, but like you said it delays the rest of your build a lot

honestly imo how to play optimally what to pick what to do in x situation etc is probably for diam/master/gm +,most player under diamond don't even know how their own champ work what item to build in different situation 1v1 vs 5v5/combos/matchup else they would be minimum d4 lvl

As mentioned on stream, I got tired of losing botlanes and decided to play ADC bot. But then my team picked ALL AD for some reason so I was inspired by you to give Cassiopeia bot a go. On my second Cass game, out of sheer dumb luck, the enemy decided to pick an Irelia+Blitzcrank bot. I had never seen it before except for when you did it on stream one time. Unfornately for them, I knew what to do since I watch Shok videos and streams. To make things worse for them, I had a god tier Sett support who just made amazing play after amazing play. Once I bought my Shok Seal(TM), it was over for them. On another note, I had tons of success with Caitlyn bot. Playing control mages got me to think about Caitlyn trap in a very different way. I start traps level 1, and at the beginning my placement is not dictated by setting up trades. Instead it is dictated on getting me control of the wave. I am glad I learned about temporary vs permanent advantages from you. Honestly bringing my mid lane fundamentals bot just gives me such a big edge over the enemy in every game. I have winning botlanes now.

I think you are taking the fact you are smurfing too much to heart. You are not doing it to get a higher ego for yourself, you are doing it to help us, the players. Your videos and Alois's are currently the best videos for educational content, just keep it up. Try to upload a bit more if you have the time for it. If I get you play against you while you are smurfing I'll look at it as a greater good. Even better if you explain what I did wrong in that scenario, but that would be expecting too much out of you. TLDR is, you are not smurfing for yourself, you are smurfing for us. People will complain no matter what you do, most of us will thank you for it tho. And upload more if you can. Thank you.
