This is an awesome song written by Freddie, voted as the best "feel good" song. Brian wrote Fat Bottom Girls, although he said it was written with Freddie in mind, in 2011 he said the real inspiration was the group of fans that followed their concerts around Europe, even bringing bicycle bells to ring during Bicycle Race. I love everything from Queen regardless of who wrote it. Freddie makes every song his own. You are doing a great job with your reviews. Yes, more Queen please😢.

Love me some Queen. For something a little bit different... My Melancholy Blues. If you want to be surprised... It's Late. If you want more blues... Sleeping On The Sidewalk. If you feel like a change of pace... Millionaire Waltz. If you wanna salsa... Who Needs You. If you wanna go on holiday... Seaside Rendezvous. If you wanna go back to the 1920's/30's... Bring Back That Leroy Brown. If you wanna take a trip... Lap Of The Gods/Lap Of The Gods Reprise. If you want a 3 part play... Tenement Funster/Flick Of The Wrist/Lilly Of The Valley.

Great reaction! I hear the Christmas Music vibe, now that you mention it. I always felt like it sounded a bit like a classic jingle from a 70s sitcom. As for Freddie's lyrics, this song was an unambiguous celebration of his sexual liberation. Freddie was bisexual and was becoming comfortable with his attraction to men. He wasn't closeted in his private life, but he was coy in interviews. Some of his friends were concerned for how his promiscuity and sexual freedom could affect his career, so he wrote this song to say "get off my case, prudes! I'm living life to its fullest!!" It was already a classic for decades, but check out its brilliant use in the 2004 Zombie Comedy classic, Shaun of the Dead. It made the song one of their most popular, to date.

2:20 You definitely get it...Freddie had a different vibe, almost like what the actualized version of what a gay man in the 80's could be (Which Freddie himself would challenge saying, "It's complicated, darling.") who didn't give a shit about what anyone thought of him...and I admire him to this day for both his music and activism (Which wasn't really activism, but more just Freddie being Freddie)...

Freddy never pulled any punches. The media tried to force him to talk about his private life or out him. Freddy lived his life to the fullest and in doing so he brought things in that gave him highs and addictions and use of sex without protection. What he died from was only one sex disease of the many std’s he. Kuldip have attracted. The band knew Freddy and were never judge mental but his whole phylosiphy was wrapped up in this one song. I’m going fast don’t stop me. Like a widow that is angry at her spouse for dying I have anger myself for artist leaving me young, abusers of their bodies and voices leaving us behind without their voices. I wanted more, selfish. When I came across dimash a teetotaler practices 3 hours a day and deep dives for his lungs everyday I will search to hear anything new and repeat listen to reactors of his works. I’ve almost exhausted queens library. Thanx for your reaction.
