I think I need to try clay. How often can you use clay? Is it cleanser or a conditioner? 👍🏽

Clay is amazing!! I know people who use it every wash day but I typically use it once a month since it acts as a detox. I would say it’s more of a cleanser than conditioner but it isn’t harsh. When I use clay I will use a shampoo or cowash after depending on how cleansing the clay is. For this particular clay I used a moisturizing shampoo after and I was good If you follow SheRea Delsol her weekly routine is something like clay, cowash, deep conditioner (don’t quote me lol)

@@friedchicken892 aww so sorry! the clay mask is a gentle detox but have you tried incorporating protein or bonding treatments into your routine to help build back elasticity?

@@CurlsofaCPA I tred mielle protein but it was too much, im trying olaplex 3 but ik it takes time. its so annoying my mom force me to get my hair straight by dominicans and it was getting there before grrr

Ahhh gotcha! So sorry, heat damage is not fun to deal with. So I would say definitely give olaplex a try and also the Curlsmith bond salve as well (that gives strength and moisture just make sure you follow directions).

I tend use heavier/ moisture rich products and I make sure i deep condition whenever I wash my hair
