It looks like your hair was damp, not wet when you started to twists? Whenever my hair is completely wet when I do my twists, they come out looking sad and wimpy!!! I have no volume at all!!! So I'm going to start doing my twist on damp hair so that my hair will at least have some type of fullness and volume when I take it down.

Yes my hair was damp which helped cuz I started my hair super late. By the time I was done it wasn’t soaking wet so I was able to go straight to sleep. I also notice I get more volume when I use lighter products (like that Curlsmith twist out i did with the curling jelly) but you gamble with not having enough moisture when using only a gel for a twist out

Unfortunately I have find strands and low density hair so I need volume! If not my twist looks stringy and not cute. I think I'm going to start twisting on dry hair so I can get more volume and definition. Any suggestions?

I mentioned this under your other post but yes a lot of people I know with fine strands style their hair on damp to dry hair. If you do this I suggest applying your leave in on wet hair and let it chill in some twists as it air dries and then when its at the level you like brush it out and twist. That will give you an almost blown out effect. And try doing bigger twists as well
