Very cool guys I am loving the plethora of BTS work on KZbin right now, you are making beginner level filmmakers very happy. I wish I saw more of these years ago. The only thing I have ask is, did the beautiful Arri's take out the budget to get B cam 1st AC on a monitor stand to hit sharps? I'm curious if she racked the whole film like that? If so, she's a champ. All in all very awesome. Great work.

Hi Zach ! Great BTS. Really enjoyed it... Just noticed this was filmed in Toronto... I'm from Toronto as well and studying filmmaking part-time. Also really enjoyed the BTS of Clementine. A wealth of information in all of the videos. If your in a pinch and need some crew, I would love to volunteer to gain some experience on set. Where could I watch the film from this BTS ? shooting shadow side is a choice that depends on the story needs IMO. Lighting means something.

A film that doesn't suck is the one which has an entertainment when you watch it. 99% of indie films are boring to death cause some people taking and talking in living room or in the car.

Some great advice in here but keep in mind, it's not against the law to shoot broadside. Yeah, shadow side looks "cinematic" but there's more than one way to light a scene.

Oh, great. As working on my first indie feature as sole cameraman and co director I thought this would help me, how gutted I was when I saw how much crew you had, I will be having to be all the crew except for sound. Love this vid thanks. The fx3 is amazing. What lens did you pair with it to match your Alexa footage. We’re you using AF? I literally bought this FX3 and RS3 pro set up last week. Some test footage uploaded yesterday if you car to have a laugh.

I just watched your video man, i loved it! The gimbal can get all the shots you're thinking of in your head without the headache of tons of gear. I used MF and swapped to AF during longer shots to lock in on focus. I shot on the Sigma 24 - 70 and the Zeiss 85mm

Haha, it's still done in the 2000s baby. For some reason the monitor couldn't get grids on it... I know... Tape always does the trick!
