I have my first maternity shoot coming up and i was literally thinking the same, had to search to see if someone else "thought out of the box". I didn't want to start of with the same ol' typical 100% photographer's go to that shoots maternity with the hands on the stomach, the silly train 20ft in the frame, same ol leg showings and the flower beret. This gives me a fantastic idea(no literally, an idea, not a copy-cat) to utilize on my first shoot. been marketplacing for chalkboards and other items for props.

Great piece! It shows that one has to take time and give thought to the entire process in order to tell the story well. I like how you look at different facets of the state of pregnancy - the cravings, challenges setting up of the nursery, etc. The finished product gives the couple -and new baby when old enough - something to look back at, and to smile and laugh at in the future. I will share this with my photography friends! :).
