Well, you love your realistic Planet Coaster parks, so let's do another one. Yes, SERIES 5!!! Welcome to Grosvenor Gardens: A completely legitimate par inspired by Gardaland in Italy, while still being a cross between Cedar Point, Thorpe Park, Dorney Park, Carowinds and Energylandia.
In the eighth episode we are pulling together a shooting dark ride - most likely made by Mack - into the park. Inspired very heavily by Ramses at Gardaland, this shooter is short, compact but pretty decent. It is also perfectly hidden into the hill with an oasis plaza on the to too. Not only that, it is surrounded by more pirate tat as the area comes to life. And with that, the pirate area is now done. This one over-ran slightly, so I'll try and keep it tighter next week - and yes, that's what she said.
Thank you so much for being an awesome community. While I gear up for the next projects, I've set up a membership if you'd like to say thanks or buy a beer (a bit like Patreon; just on KZbin). Using realism I’ve learnt from my experience of working for a real-life theme park company and over 4000 hours of Planet Coaster play time. Using true-to-life principles, we walk through each stage of the build reasons why things are built in a certain way- as well as some top tips on how these were achieved too by pulling them apart for you to see. As the project progresses, I’ll release the park for you to enjoy, so please make sure you Subscribe to stay in touch! I'm the two dollars twenty of Planet Coaster apparently...
What if Cedar Fair opened a park in the UK? Would it look like Alton Towers? Thorpe Park? Or would it take on the form of more American parks like Cedar Point? Canada's Wonderland? Or would it be more themed like DollyWood, Legoland, Busch Gardens or SeaWorld? Oh, and don't forget Six Flags too! What about China? I hear Flying Kiss theme park in China is a good one too! Well, one thing is for sure, realistic Planet Coaster parks don't come much more realistic than this and let's be honest, other Planet Coaster Let's Play or Planet Coaster gameplay videos won't give you the real reasons why things are as they are. Where do you place rides, rollercoasters, shops, paths, plazas, car parks, entrance areas, tickets, turnstiles, maintenance sheds and so on? I'll tell you where as we up the Planet Coaster Realism game! This is more than just a Planet Coaster Tutorial; this is a Planet Coaster best park ever!' Just so you know, my realistic series uses Planet Coaster Sandbox. It's time to get Planet Coaster real! Episodes with rollercoasters also have rollercoaster povs too. Don't worry if you're stuck for Planet Coaster Entrance Ideas - this episode will sort you out. This is how to start a park. AND if you like the build styles of Themepark worldwide, bro nation, silvarret, maskedbandit, mike sheet, deladysigner and rudi rudikmental then you might just like this! We have very similar planet coaster building style. I wish I'd get noticed by Mr Beast haha

"The next episode is going to be smaller, because I have a busy week." *Builds two (fantastic) monolithic, multi-story buildings across a sprawling plaza* This series continues to be amazing. Not sure why some people would skip in videos; every minute is enjoyable.

Really awesome dark ride. I love the idea of using the roof as a chill area--really neat that it's not wasted space! I would love a nighttime lighting tour whenever you get around to it :) Keep up the good work, Nerdchacho, this is shaping up to be another awesome park!

If your trying for a dark ride try the diner wall with black and turn it around so the back is showing and it is completely black allowing as much forced perspective as possible due to there being nothing else to look at
@Nerdchacho

In tests the city wall is darker than the diner wall. The diner wall seems to throw quite a lot of light.. People have recommended this before.. We discuss this in the Episode of Raygate Lake..

What ride type is this?? I downloaded the game a while ago but cant find this ride in the track ride section. Also the ride itself looks great! Maybe instead of Fathom's Fight, The Battle of Shipwreck Cove. Speaking of which with the amount of boats Shipwreck Cove would be a pretty great name for the area if you don't have one yet haha

Love all your parks, and your Videos are just awesome! Thank you! The only Thing i maybe dont like is your extremly long queue lines especially for flat rides. Most flat rides ive been ok in my life have really short queues. It makes them too grand. Also your parks are a bit too huge and perfect for me. Most people in planco tend to make perfect parks which i find unrealistic as most parks are way jankier and unplesaint. Not every Part needs big plazas and themed in my opinion. But thats just crying in high Level as your parks are probably one of the Most realistic in planco
@Nerdchacho
@Nerdchacho Жыл бұрын
haha, I totally know what you mean. I'm not sure which part of the world you're in, so I'll talk for UK parks only - over here our flat rides are capable of getting 2 hour queues, so they need to have the queue space to accommodate it. We don't completely have the culture of rushing straight to coasters and ignoring the flats - the flats also form part of the whole day out experience. Thorpe Park is a great example of this, where rides like Vortex and Rush frequently hit 90 mins on busy days. Every PlanCo player has their own style and it is awesome that the game lets us have our own unique signature; but you're right, the one thing that is hard to do is jank - because the game is so polished and everything always looks "new" and well kept..
