The contest system needs to be on hof. Playing the game on hof difficulty actually forced players to get open while still being able to shoot consistently thanks to the new buff. The gameplay at park would be much better after this patch if it was in hof.

I wish shooting was hard. When ever 2k buffs shooting it just helps people who shoot off screens and I personally don’t enjoy the game as much. Just my opinion.

Honestly i wouldnt mind hard shooting but there should be an actual skill gap not the game determining me missing they couldve just made the green window smaller

@@twu2293the end result is almost the same. Tiny green windows just means that latency and internet connection will be more impactful than user timing. Since no user controls 2k server latency, it would seem like rng.

No just make the contest system mean something then you have balance. Can't penalize ppl for creating the open lock or reward ppl for bad defense

As someone who plays random rec. after the shooting buff it’s become more one player dominant, we just hunt 3’s now 60-70% of the shots come from 3. Before it was more team orientated which was refreshing. I feel that soon the game will return to 2k24, pg behind a screen and hunts the 3. Whatever team can do that better will win

I don't think shooting needed a buff at all. Just add a pure green window and it's fine. I'm actually shooting worse now bc they removed the catch and shoot delay with rhythm shooting and I was used to it 😂

I have 78 3pt and was shooting around 40% before, now I’m barely missing. Before this patch I was regretting the low 3 but now it feels OP imo

Look man, at the end of the day no one should shoot 50% from 3pt range. The greatest shooters in the NBA and around the ball do not shoot that high of a percentage. Period. I understand if people don’t want a realistic game, but as someone who actually appreciates the game of basketball, I want it to replicate real world basketball

2k should have kept the shooting the same and just added a pure green window nd took out the rng. Making shooting easier allows more whites to go in especially when people rhythm shoot.

The thing I hate the most about the 2k is the animations most of the animations I’ve been using since 23 especially the Kobe fade for a big man and I can’t even get it unless I’m like 6’6

Shooting didn’t need a buff. It’s the shifting green windows that hurt shooting. Along with people making whites was utterly ridiculous. 2k just need to buff paint defense, fix the contest system, contextualize passing lane steals and patch the dunk meter from 24. Simple solutions. No one asked for Rhythm Shooting, it’s the same like 21 and centering. Just stop trying to make the game difficult

The contest system is straight garbage. You can be damn near hugging the man and 2k says it's open...... that's not an open shot. 2k is basically rewarding and incentivizing players to take bad shots. I agree with the defensive stopper badge cause mini marksman is similar. They just didn't incorporate enough animations to counter others offensive and defensive

Shooting doesn’t make sense if contest doesn’t make sense for example 2k19 shooting was easy but shot contest was good so it was a battle rn it’s literally horrible contest with easy shooting so bums are playing like top players. Just make it that shooting is harder in comp scenario and let park and rec be casual settings or just buff defense
