I just got the feedback below from Jeff Kavanagh in Canada, so pleased with that and I shall be continuing on as I am. "You mentioned that you have a bit of an unconventional form. The thing is it seems to be really working for you well so honestly i wouldn't change a thing. Why mess with progress. If I look at it and start picking things apart then it will only mess things up for you. Really there is no "right way" to do it, just the "right way" for you. When I teach people I go over the basic fundamentals which are kind of common for most archery but that doesn't always mean it is the right thing for everyone. If something is working then just keep doing what you are doing and don;t mess with success."

Jeff K would be a very trusted source of guidance! I'd say it boils down to shooting thousands and thousands of arrows! Have fun!!!

It's good to see another fellow left handed shooter, and the archery industry does a decent job of producing bows for left handed shooters. If you started with a 50 pound bow you've done better then most and the Bear AuSauble gets praise from those who shoot it, Everything takes times and there are many ways to shoot a bow. It's always good to attend a session with someone who has more experience and ccuracy skill with the bow. One may pick up a few pointers which can create some additional improvements.

BigRed56 Thanks mate. I actually started with a 24lb Samick takedown. great beginners bow. then replaced to 35lb limbs and then I got the Bear.

you should purchase a DVD by Rick Welch.. "The Accuracy Factory". He also has a few videos of his students shooting on KZbin. Jeff Kavanagh... he's a great archer... self taught. Ricky Welch... a World Champion several times over and has a different style than Jeff K. but it is instinctive. This video is now over a yr. old... I hope your doing well with your archery. Good Luck.

Where is your range? Do you invite other archers around?

Looks like you are shooting a right handed bow and you pulling with your left arm. Looks strange. However, if it works for you, so be it.

Hi Mark. All my bows are left handed. Thanks for watching. Cheers
