I have seen this shooting, I ws somewhere in public with my elder brother,,,, And I remember that was Friday bcz evry Friday there were shooting in this erea call Millat Nagar (Mumbai), specially on Millat Nagar's Bridge near Tara pur garden,,,so many movies memories in this place like song "Ankhiyaan tu mila le raja" (Ishq), Fighting scenes of Salman Khan's Auzar, Sunil Shetty's Gopi Kishan and many more...Missing those days.

The people in the comments section are reading this video wrong. Sanjay dutt is not forgetting steps, and he does not need easy steps. He has performed even more complex dances in his past films. See how is easily able to perform the steps in the rehearsal at 3:59. But at the time of the actual first take at 4:57 the guy counting down 'Ready 3 2 1 Go' does it wrong, he says 'Go' after the filming part of the song is already started. See how Sanju points to the guy for timing it wrong. And if you think why is that only problem for him and not the other background dancers, its because others merely have to dance and get their steps right, because they are out of focus in the shot, the audience and the camera are not going to look at them. But the lead has to lip sync, and give same energetic expressions in each and every shot, his rhythm is extremely important, if that breaks, the shot has to be stopped immediately rather than continuing with a flop shot, to save the time for the next take to happen. Another factor is that the camera is still, hence he has to have his footing land on the mark to be at the center of the frame. Also for the next shot, see again at 6:33 the background dancer on his right, hits his hand to Sanjay's left hand, again breaking the rhythm, its a crammed space for the steps that the choreographer suggests. Add to that the fact that all the other guys in the background and the choreographer are all professional dancers, who have only one job, to dance. Whereas for an actor, apart from dancing, they also have to know how to act, be in control of their expressions, their speech and voice modulation, look good, build muscles, train, shoot fight sequences, all of which take effort. Its easy to laugh at them, but it takes effort to be where they are and do what they do. Add to that the fact that the other dancers will be 20-25 year olds while Sanjay Dutt was 40 while filming vaastav, even though his character is younger. Each of those background dancers, the makeup guys, spot boys, lighting, the choreographer all have to be paid on per day basis, so they cannot keep filming a song for more days than planned just because one dance step is difficult. The director has to take the decision to move on and get a new step thats easy to shoot and be done with the take. See the final take of how it solves all the little problems by making it simpler to shoot.
