(**Shooting Review**) Taurus G2C & Blazer Aluminum Case Ammo Testing

wanted to show the Taurus g2c 9mm testing/shooting the 115 grain fmj aluminum case ammunition from Blazer. Got some nice double taps and triple taps for you as well! and while shooting one handed lol. NO FAILURES!!! I swear I'm impressed! my glock 19 gen 4 and gen 4 glock 23 .40 cal did NOT like this aluminum case ammo at all! I got stovepipes, failure to ejects, failure to feeds etc (and glocks are reliable as hell) so honestly this Taurus amazed me. Great pistols! I also called the casing brass at one point by mistake so forgive me since normally that's all I shoot and is habit lol. hope yall enjoy

The G2c has a real short trigger reset so you can shoot it real fast and it can surprise you if you are not familiar with it. Haha. The trigger is a two stage trigger like a double action so you have to stage or prep the trigger to the break point. Yes it takes practice and getting used to. If the pistol will shoot aluminum case it will shoot anything. Aluminum expands more than brass filling the chamber so you tend to get stuck cases. Steel case expands less than brass so you get more carbon or burnt powder fouling in the chamber around the case that causes stuck cases. You have to clean the gun more often if using steel case. I have over 600 rounds of all kinds of ammo through my G2c I have had since 2018 and its still flawless. The only thing I have not shot is steel case but since it shoots aluminum case I know it will shoot steel case. Hollow points are not a problem for it either. Mine is all factory stock. I have not put any aftermarket parts on it. Thanks for sharing. P.S. Take a look at the taurusfirearms KZbin channel video titled In Depth: Taurus G-Series Trigger System. You will see what I mean about two stage triggers prepping and staging the trigger like you would for a double action.

Thank you very much for all the info as well I will surly check it out :) I was definitely surprised it ran so good with aluminum cased ammunition, I've had multiple stove pipes and fte/ftf with it in my glocks and your info explains to me now exactly why it was happening (since glocks have the oversized chamber as well)...but the Taurus no issues with any ammo ive run through it. I will say this, I've not shot much steel cased through any if my firearms either since it's not a very common ammo type here in my area so I'm not sure about them much, maybe that can be next video and I'll out the comparison up against a glock 😉 thanks again for watching my videos!

@@evil-bass12640 The chamber tolerances on the G2c are not as tight as say a SIG. SIG chambers can be pretty tight and I notice that by the degree of accuracy of my reloads not being quite as good as factory but I will say I have had over 600 rounds through my P365 also and of those 300 were aluminum case and the pistol is still flawless. So I got no complaints with the P365. My Bersa TPR9C runs aluminum cased pretty good also and it also is still flawless over the 600 round mark. I always like to run aluminum cased ammo in my autoloaders just to see how well they can handle expansive cased ammo.

That’s really crazy! The g2c I used in this video surprised me a lot for real, it ate literally all the ammo i ever fed through it without any issues

I would if I still had it, and wish I did sometimes lol, maybe one day soon I’ll get another. I got rid of the g2c also because I swapped to the lakeline llc ss guide rod assembly and it constantly jammed afterwards. And don’t get me wrong either, Glocks are and always have been fantastic, reliable guns 💪
