The rifle's receiver has the right shape to the win. 92 as Rossi guns were like a Winchester but now the receivers are not shaped like a winchester. The changed turned off a lot of people that bought the gun because it was a spiten image of a Winchester. My favorite hunting load is 25 grains of H-110 with a rcbs 200 gr. bullet & regular load i 8 grs unique with the same bullet which has the crimp on the right place. I use win pistol primers in all.

Have the same in 357/38sp..... !! Very accurate and functional without added import LAWYER safety on bolt or tang.... !!! A close up of both couldnt hurt either... good video except for that..!

I had a friend in my childhood who's dad deer hunted with a '73 in 44 WCF. Nobody gave him any problems about it because he got many deer with it.

Excellent video! A repro 1892, then an original 1873 for dessert, both in my favorite chambering. What could be better?

Hi Steve, I would be more than pleased with the 100 yard group you mentioned. Like you, I prefer the older guns, but I did receive a Uberti 1873 Special grade lever gun for my retirement gift from the company. They are made very well, are accurate and fun to shoot. @@californiadreamin8423 it is a currently available Marbles sight. It works well enough, but not the same quality as the old original Marbles and Lyman tang sights.
