I carried a Glock 22C .40 on duty for 10 years. This included dozens of nightfire and duty load quals. If anything, the ports helped with a "flash sight picture" and sight acquisition in low light. I've read for years from the "experts" that the ports would blind you. Utter hogwash. These "experts" should've spent less time behind a computer and more time firing their ported guns in low light. Thanks to Julie and Shooting USA for bringing the truth of ported barrels to a wide audience.

I carried a Glock 19C and my last duty gun was a 17C. With a ported gun the flash is directed away from the sight picture, making two ‘rabbit ears’ instead of a big fireball at the end of the muzzle. I found it less distracting than an unported barrel. Pretty amazing the two of us never went blind or caught ourselves on fire from the close-in hip shooting position 😂

There are a couple of companies that make moving target systems, some simple and some not so. Try Secure Firearms Products, they have a fully portable system for 2 or 4 targets, suitable for NRA Action Pistol and can be fully customised.
