5:15 Actually in Korean war, they didn't use the AKs. Yes it was being issued during the korean war but soviet didn't supply them to north korea. American first encounter the AK was in the Vietnam war.

Most of the AKMs assault rifles, in South Vietnam, came from China. (Type 56 PLA Assault Rifles).

I've never owned an AK style rifle, but my interest continues to grow. Balked at a chance to buy a reasonably-priced Egyptian MAADI at a local shop last year. I regret it!

I like Gary's Chinese milled AK-47. I have a similar milled AK-47 that I built over 10 years ago and turned into a clone of a Russian type 3. It's a shame that you don't see many milled AKs anymore. In my experience they have superior durability and accuracy over the more common stamped receiver rifles.
@NgJackal1990 Жыл бұрын
Arsenal still selling milled AKs but they never have wood stocks. And there are milled AK kits as well to build.
@dancortes3062 Жыл бұрын
@@NgJackal1990 Yes but sadly the complete Chinese and Polish milled AKs are long gone. If you want a brand new milled AK and are not into kit building, then your only options really are Zastava or Arsenal. I think more AK companies should bring back the classic milled AK-47. Retro ARs are popular and sell well, why not retro AKs?
@NgJackal1990 Жыл бұрын
@@dancortes3062 producing milled receivers is expensive, I assume. That's why there's a company out there who are producing these receivers for building and there are specialized businesses for building aks. Gun builders would post their built aks on gunbroker for very expensive prices.

You referred to the AK47 as being an assault weapon. What's an assault weapon?
@VHS_Vampire1988 Жыл бұрын
"Assault weapon" is a made up term used by anti-gunners. "Assault rifle" means an automatic rifle designed for military use. Like the M4 or M16. Usually equipped with a selective fire feature.
@Greenjeans2020 Жыл бұрын
@@VHS_Vampire1988 Assault is an action, not an object. The AR15 was never used by any military but is often referred to as a "Weapon of War." However a pump shotgun was/is used in war. They use these terms to further their anti gun laws. They should not be accepted.

This is STG-47 → last piece of greatest Hugo Schmeiser, projected de facto in the soviet jail, after WW2. Kalashnikov couldn't read layouts in German. And in his 17 hadn't enough engineering knowledge. Nefarious moscow just had stolen the one, forced Hugo forget about any license rights. They "prized" him with deathful disease for last couple of his years. And that is Truth, my friends. Purchasing this rifle just remember the real Master.
@Real11BangBang11 ай бұрын
This rifle has almost nothing in common with the STG 44. Other than firing an intermediate cartridge, the STG 44 runs on a roller delayed blowback system. While the AK runs on a long stroke gas piston, the STG doesn't even have a gas tube 😂😂😂
@serhiishynkaruk675211 ай бұрын
Hugo had just simplified gas cam, rejecting the short pushing sys, its temp regulations option in dirty conditions and used long stroke, sacrificing by some accuracy of firing, well known. Exactly he used experience of combat using STG44 during the war as engineer/designer.📃

@JesusChristisgreat-pj6nd7 ай бұрын
It fires farther, AK is a bigger round bigger entrance even bigger exit, AR will jam in adverse weather conditions, AK is known to be strong in adverse weather conditions, in a perfect American world the AR is more than suitable, in not so perfect world AK everytime.

The ar 15 will do better in dirt and Mudd test than the ak. The ak just doesn't need as much cleaning and lubricant
